New UI changes, make it a lot easier I think for newer players to get to grips with the various queuing systems, while allowing the more veteran player a chance to fine tune what they are looking for :)
Im really happy about the built-in premade finder. oQueue is an awesome Addon (id dare to say its a must have), but its still buggy and messes up with bnet , while im pretty sure blizz implementation will be flawless
das it mane
I am an avid user of the OQ addon, I think it's fantastic. For the record I have never required a minimum ilvl for any of my groups; however, I feel Blizzard limiting players by not allowing you to require an ilvl higher than your own isn't right. Why limit players at all truly? It's the player's right to decide if they want to be involved in a situation like that. Again, I have never used that particular feature before, I just dislike features being limited in ANY way.
I was hoping that it would be tied to the calendar system so that interest can be generated and gathered at one time.Still, It's a good start though.

It would be lovely if it could take a place similar to open raid by letting you SCHEDULE a raid. I'd also like to see them add challenge modes. Let's face it...for some, Challenge modes without Open Raid would be impossible. Being able to find people to fill in a group through this system would be perfect.
This is missing a lot of oQueue features, like realtime filtering, only showing groups you qualify for, showing which boss the group is on, queuing for heroic scenarios and flex (soon to be normal) raids, and distinguishing between american and oceanic servers. But it's getting there.Hopefully the API will remain open, so 3rd party developers can integrate.
I understand the reasoning, I truly do, but I'm going back to what I said before, " It's the player's right to decide if they want to be involved in a situation like that."All that will happen if Blizzard keeps that in is that people "wanting to be carried" or people wanting to overgear content i.e. flex Garrosh heirlooms, well they just won't set a min ilvl but they will cherry pick the waitlist and people who are below what the leader wants will just stay on the list.
This has no bearing on this update, but I'd like to apologize for complaining about many of the class changes. The current alpha state is showing, in my opinion, that the changes to Warriors and Warlocks are there to balance the gutting of abilities from every class and put them all on level ground as well as attempt to remove the hybridization inherent in each class in their current state. With the stat squish and new talents, this is a necessary evil. SO, thanks to that, the garrisons, and the changes' effects on dungeons/raids (potentially increasing difficulty) I'm actually considering preordering WoD now :) Sorry for being a bit of a prick.
I cannot count the number of times I've seen people spam the tradechat with LFM (insert random raid), requiring insane gear level, not only more than the aforementioned dungeon's loot iLvL, but about 30-40 more than the player's own gear iLvl. So kudos to Blizzard for stopping these selfish people!
Great to see getting access to the group leader's garrison. I wonder if we can use their facilities. An improved group finder is always useful. If only they could buff the guild finder with something similar. The ability for a guild to advertise in-game that they need specific roles for a raid with regular days would be a vast improvement over the current system.
Looks good, I just hope it may 'steal' some more of OQ functionality before release :P
The question is... is it xrealm? because if it isn't, I'm sure people will keep using Oqueue.
