Sounds good.
6 years late but it's cool.. I guess..
The premise of these spotlights isn't so much the literal content but the highlighting of guides that are, at least in part, thorough and/or creative. They're to show what one can create with our guide system for whatever they feel worthwhile to help others pursue. Far too many seem to focus on the specific topic and whether it's relevant to them now. The relevance isn't necessarily the point.
I'm shocked that there are no guides on logging into wow.
thanks ...
Useful for people that didn't do it years ago. Expansion to expansion, a lot of game systems change, as well as design philosophy. MOP handled rep/daily content very differently than any recent expansion, and it can be difficult getting your bearings with how spread out some stuff is. I can remember several MOP daily quests/NPCs that I had trouble finding back then.
I don't know why people are complaining, this is exactly the kind of guide that should be highlighted at this time, when an expansion is winding down and people are looking at older content they maybe never did whilst waiting for BfA. This little piece of content in particular was a highlight of MoP for a lot of people.
I see that having to explain that this feature isn't meant to focus on guides written for current content but rather well done ones regards of when they were written has become the new "Microholidays don't give rewards."
