Patron meta maybe?
Wow, this new Tawern Brawl is amazing. Finally you need to think about your moves. Won with Lock deck, seems the easiest one. Btw, tawern rule doesnt work each turn, dont know why=(
Selfdamage doesn't work,,,
For now it only triggers at the beginning of your turn and the minion is treated as if you had summoned him that turn (summoning sickness). I've also noticed that you can only get something like a 2 or 3 drop, or I'm just really unlucky with my rng.
I've had good luck with Rogue. The damage taken from controlling the board with weapons let me get a new underdog minion almost every turn until I was able to make a killing blow.
i can't understand how it works, is 4 damage in one turn? or 4 per turn?
Well, three words: Handlock reigns supreme. Glad I crafted all the pieces a week ago.
Just to be contrary I went with priest. I can buff my opponent's health and buff my minions in doing so :)
I liked shaman for numerous board clearing spells and then bloodlusts and windfurys for knockout blows
I've yet to see anything OTHER than a Warlock.
I like playing a control-style Paladin since it's comfortable below 15 or so HP and has options to heal the opponent (), weapons to keep board control and damage itself (; the healing tends to be irrelevant), and answers to the popular Handlock and Patron Warrior decks (, , and a well-timed ). Do note that games with this class tend to be very long, however—they can go into fatigue if your opponent doesn't concede first.Cards to consider in any deck include , , and the anti-Handlock and .
I also want to add, because I don't think it has been mentioned that the game takes in to consideration ARMOR and health. ie. If your on 15 health with 15 armor and your opponent is on 30 health you will NOT get a random minion.
Good to know. Thanks GAFFiO.
this was pretty fun!
I don't think I'd look at it as a bug. The text says "you're losing by more than 3 health" which technically would be true but you need to eat through all that armor to get to the health so they're not really losing. Blizzard would want to account for that or it really wouldn't have been fair (in my opinion). After all, a one health warrior with 29 armor is essentially full health and probably isn't losing.
This has been my experience as well. Brawl won't give you minions bigger than 3 mana.
Mill decks word great, everyone wants to grab cards, here's your change.Won my first with rogue mill deck, Vanish/sap whenever enemy has 8+ cards and more minions on field.Dont let the player lose to much health just force them to lose all their cards :)Druid mill should work fine aswell.Brewmasters+murloc draw 2cardsBoth decks work fine with clearing with your hero power aswell for own face damage.
Generally, the summoned minion doesn't seem to be powerful enough to make much of a difference. Though I did have issues when a warlock got a , since that helped him get more, and a panic moment when a patron warrior got a (luckily, that just lead to him clearing my board, rather than enabling a huge combo). But most of the underdog boosts just aren't worth worrying about, it seems, especially with the summoning sickness.
