Video of this Tavern Brawl (Priest)
Me, I used a Hunter Deck with two , and completing a 5 Hunter/Mage quest with it...The highlight, though, was that I summoned Lothab through a spell on Turn 5 and I just so happened to have the two brewmasters in my hand. So I brew'd him on Turn 6, then on Turn 7, I summoned and brew'd him again, which is enough to activate his 5+mana battlecry. Sure, Lothab did allow the mage to summon a 6-7 mana minion that turn, but thankfully, I was able to destroy that minion easily and summon Lothab once more on Turn 8, and I guess the mage didn't have any "low-cost" spells as he conceded after that.
I used priest deck similar to this one.
So far, This has been my favourite of the brawls. I don't have anywhere near all the cards, but enough to make a brawl deck and brawls have become my game type of choice for quests.I was able to make mage / druid and rogue decks for this week work quite well and I happened to get 2x win 5 games as rogue quests, which I did without too many problems.pi
Yes, brawls work really well for quests as they don't use up a deck slot so you can just create one for whatever class you need the quest for on the fly. I find rogues really complicated so I don't like playing them normally but, for a one-off brawl, I was fine with it.
