Shadowlands will always have a slightly bad aftertaste to it for me. I may end up loving everything about it and mark it as one of my favorites by the end but because its a direct continuation of the atrocity that was BfA it will never truly get as much love from me as it may deserve. BfA took my love and general tolerance for the often odd dev and story decisions and threw it all away. It will take more than a single good expansion to really win back any amount of loyalty. This is all just my personal views as I found myself recounting what I disliked about BfA even as I read about what comes next.
Solid lore discussion here , as a lore interested player I’m very much looking forward to press forward . Revendreth had me from the start though , redemption is something I’m interested in especially on our story .
Huh so that's the face of god in Azeroth.
Since you guys mention that bfa is bad I want to say that for me personally Battle for Dazar'alor raid was awesome, I really enjoyed the mechanic of Elsa encounter. I mean raiding in general has pretty consistent quality overall.
Theory, Nathanos is killed and that is the reason Sylvannas now has emo set on drained of color since her heart is fully dull now.
I really hoped they wrote Sylvannas better than this. Like Garrosh, she could've been a true "morally grey" character and give the Horde something to look forward to. Blizz actually wrote her well enough in the first 1/2 of the Before the Storm book, "Although her own sense of honor was somewhat fluid, she could appreciate honor in others," and her concern for Forsaken was resolute. She even mentioned that she felt negatively towards Vol'jin's death. Instead, she left the book and this expansion being a near irredeemable villain.Even if her intention with the Jailor is good (as in, constructive), it would not be enough to return her to the respected status prior to Legion.
So, like, something I noticed in the final loyalist quest is that, when Sylvanas and Nathanos are talking, HE tells HER there can be no hesitation. She says there won't be. I feel like he's more involved than he lets on. Maybe I'm reading too much into it because I really like the ship and their tragic romance thing, but whatever. It's a fun little tidbit either way.
soooo, we will have to farm to enter torgrash....my last hope for wow has died visions 2.0, here we go again....

Oh no jaina! What have they done to you? Let her go you bastards!
I hope Blizzard has the awareness that people are tired of Mary Sue and will conclude this story early. Then again I wouldn't be surprised if the people in charge of the story didn't even know about the 41 thousand dislikes on the Shadowlands cinematic.
Glory to the Night Fae ofcourse!
