It's worth mentioning that Nefarian starts with 1 less mana
OP nerf to Nefarian, IMO, needed. Thanks.
A repeat Brawl, why am I not surprised. I don't understand why it's so hard to properly maintain this new feature, instead of constantly reusing old ones.
Is a bit hard to win as Ragnaros, but it's really fun.
Ugg Nef 3 times and 3 losses
Now, after the nerf, Nefarian is the bad one. It's very easy to win as Ragnaros now. All that because of 1 mana.
yep it's severly against nef now really badly so, all of ragnaros cards undo anything nef can do.Only a slim chance you'll get a random spell that will help you but theres nothing random about ragnaros he's just an OP piece of crap. You cant take him down fast enough, your so caled mana advantage means NOTHING because rag's creatures a 6/6 taunts for 2 mana etc rag will just get to turn 5 then smash you or your creatures down with his hero power.I cant believe they didnt test this enough.
At 5 mana the two sides were almost perfectly balanced (RNG will always screw you over, and if you think they weren't balanced you just arn't a good player). At 4 mana Nef is severely underpowered, you now need PERFECT RNG or you will lose, every time.
The fact is, once Rag uses up his weapon, it's a win.
I haven't really been able to muster much enthusiasm for the Brawl this week. Usually I play Brawl most days it's out but, with this one, it's an old brawl that's less balanced than before and I'm far to busy testing out cards from the new adventure to want to spend time on this.
I have to imagine that Blizzard looked at the data from all of the previous Nef/Rag battles and decided that the win rate wasn't equal enough. So although it may instinctively feel "less balanced", that may just be perception--remember, they've got the records of probably thousands of games for statistical analysis, while each of us has a handful. That said, I played one round of the brawl this time just to get the pack. Got Nef and won very handily with him, despite starting at 4 mana. But that's not enough to evaluate the change. :-)
