I wonder if he is coworking with Warcraft for 5th Edition D&D team. They have already made a lot of progress converting WoW to DnD 5E.
Really awesome stuff. I want to run a campaign set in WoW universe, but am unsure what to do? Should I follow some known and established stories (like Northrend and Lich King and Broken Isles or Pandaria) or should I tell small stories, connected with a few zones? Has anyone ran a D&D campaign in WoW setting and can answer my questions? Thanks!
This is simply amazing.
can someone explain what means "5E"I can't even find in google. -.-
DnD 5th Edition (5E)
You should also check out reddit.com/r/wc5e/ they have been making WoW DnD 5th Edition Content for a long time now, they even have a bestiary pdf and a core systems book that is free
Probably interesting for D&D fans, but I can't help but think that this is a cease and desist waiting to happen.
It's already been done, quite well, in Warcraft RPG.
Not gonna lie, just about any campaign would benefit from swarms of murlocs attacking the party or a sultry voiced space goat giving quests!
I've been waiting for a few Warcraft Races to be implemented into DnD, right now I'm playing a homebrew Troll from Warcraft but I'd instantly convert him if this guy thinks up a Troll playable race.
Check Warcraft Heroes Handbook on GM Binder. These guys are doing a good job at converting WoW to 5E. You can also check their discord for updates.
Convert it to Pathfinder 2E and I'm in!
I was like “Holy #$%^, this is huge for RP realms.”Then I saw it was fan made. “Oh, of course. Blizzard doesn’t do world building. lol”
Take my money!
Would be more interesting if it wasn't 5e. 5e is just trash compared to other rulesets. Be it viable builds (because despite it being a tabletop rpg, bad character will be a fast end of fun), everything dumbed down and worst of all a lot of butchered lore thanks to WotC... generally 5e just caused DnD to go downhill
