A fine tip :)
just starting 110 dhneed to get all my followers & etc
Good guide, I'll be using it for catching up my benched alts. Even with the quick catch-up to Ar25/26 with pushover, doing the way they did the weapons made this xpac extremely alt-unfriendly. Not sure why it took almost 8 months to get it moving to the point I can unbench several of my alts. In Pandaria and Draenor I could LFR my alts with every wing release and have no issues continuing their gear progression... but this xpac blew.
Please on the next wow expansion remove the Artifacts.
If I remember right they said they are removing artifacts in next expansion.
Good stuff wowhead. Just what we need for those not paying much attention to 7.2.
You forgot to mention about the Class Halls, mostly. Like, while doing any WQ, on the Broken Shore, Legion Invasions , or others, it is important that the character chooses his all-time bodyguard champion, and put the Order Resource/Gold equipment. They'll end up with more resource they can handle and spare the main character of using them, or even by playing with one with those equips on the main, you can progress thru the AK up to 50 with him, then with the Big extra Order resources you can buy 1-12 of the compendiums, costing a total of 1-12k order resources, and giving your alts a huge catch-up system, they will instantly get AK45, spering them from using their own (and scarse) resources for other things, like their own order halls research (lvl 7 and 8, for 25k total, each, for example). Blizz has many tools to improve Alts playing in Legion, just people not using them properly it seems, then come in forums whine at Legion not being alt friendly haha. Also, there are some champions like Meatball, that any class can have in their class hall, and has huge bonus to eitheir mission farming, or bodyguard role, and he's easy to get, since you can now get enough ilvl in 7.2 to at least beat the first boss of the brawler's guild with ease (or repeat him for some of the class hall missions that spawn on his questline).
Also, take advantage of the Invasions. You might be able to only do the first 6 WQ's that are up, but, depending on what you end up getting, xp or artifact power, it will drastically speed up leveling for your alt. I leveled a 100 Mage to 110, on 7 invasions and 1 dungeon at the end because I didn't want to wait a day, and also ended up with 10 points into my Artifact. Happy Alt'ing.
If you want to up an 100 alt, and you unlocked the fly, I suggest to focus on the lore quests. Do only the primary chain quests, forget the secondary ones.
You can likey update the "If you already have a well-progressed main character with Artifact Knowledge 25, purchase Artifact Research Compendium: Volumes I-IV in your Order Hall for 1000 and send it to your alt. They can then use the book to reach AK 20 instantly. Then complete 5 Knowledge is Power to reach AK 25." bit, as it progresses upwards, likely through AK 50 (on my AK 31 Main, I was able to buy "Artifact Research Compendium: Volumes I-V" which gave my fresh 110 AK 25.
I come back for 7.2 but i dont have curve and 900+ ilvl for HC NH.
At AK30 post-7.2 you can just buy the new Artifact Research Compendium: Volumes I-V for mere 1,000 resources to just give your alt instant AK25.
