Pretty sure this was all covered in legion already.
Reading the history between Helya and Odyn really makes you go "Why is Helya the villain again?"Oh right "Justifiably angry woman bad"
WoW's writers have a tendency to rely on this trope in particular waaay too often."Oh, Sylvanas isn't really evil! She's only like that because of what Arthas / the Jailer did to her!""Oh, Azshara isn't really evil! She's only like that because of the deal N'Zoth forced her into!""Oh, Helya isn't really evil! She's only like that because of what Odyn did to her!"The first female WoW villain I'll be able to take seriously is the one who doesn't blame all her problems on a man (or male-presenting eldritch abomination, I guess)
I like the thought of Odyn peering into the Shadowlands, seeing Kyrians shuttling souls around, deciding that he's going to make his own version (with beer! and hookers!)...but he draws the line at making them blue.
i wonder what will be helya's ultimate fate.
