nice!
So cosmetically speaking, they're like a more versatile Druid form. Works for me I guess. Curious to know just how many "barber armor" options there are.
this should appease a lot of people
That is nice, but I would honestly enjoy the human form more. The beast form for all combat is harsh. Honestly they should change it so that you can be in ether form during combat. And change worgens to be like that as well or else people who play them will complain.
A slightly more bulky torso isn't enough because the limbs are still too skinny. Give us a choice between a slender or beefy form.
theres chunkier dracthyr guards placed throughout the dragon isles, wish that body type was an option
Well that's pretty cool. Looking forward to seeing more of it then.
I wish I knew why their design feels so different to D&D Dragonborn, is it just the wings or the snout length that's throwing me off?
... Forcing people into a monster form isn't a great idea. I hate it with chicken and instantly try and glyph out of it into something more humanoid.I suspect I'm not alone.
Oh thank god. I've seen a lot of people (myself included) wanting bulkier dragon forms. Glad to see Blizzard getting ahead of the curve for this one.
Disappointing that they won't be able to have all the 'mog options in Dracthyr form like worgen (and pandaren, vulpera, etc for that matter) - makes the barbershop options feel like a bit of compensation rather than a full feature of its own.Maybe they can have an option of showing your Dracthyr head and wings in place of head/back in visage form?
Not gonna lie, this xpac is shaping up to be one i actually wanna contribute to testing with XD
come on Blizzard stop being lazy and let them use chest pieces
Itd be nice if we could just stay in human form if we wanted, you could just have the wings come out when its thematically needed like demon hunters popping into meta for eyebeam.
sounds kinda bad that the combat form which is where we gonna spend most of our time is based on just barbershop options..i really hope they make the humanoid forms into its own race type for other classes so i can wear those cool horns
It doesn't bother me but I know several people that really wanted to be able to combat in the base human form, so it is kinda sad that they couldnt use mostly the base human casting animations and then for the dracthyr style ones like breath attacks or the strafing run they could transform for to do it then go back to base human casting. I think the people asking this just want to have their horned/scaled human forms be the main one for all the stuff they do. Personally i like being dragon form all the time but i just think having the ability to do human as well for the people who like the humanized dragon look better would be nice, so you dont have the whole worgen fiasco again with the human form basically always being useless besides seeing what ur mog couldve looked like as a human instead.I mean greymane can fight not worgen so why cant we with worgen or as dracthyr.
The best thing about this, IMO, is that it doesn't have to be a "one and done" deal.We didn't stop getting new customization options after the character customization overhaul, for example. We're still getting new options, especially for allied races. So as long as we start out with a good set of things to pick from initially, it's all but guaranteed we'll eventually get more options - specifically I see the "dragon form armor" thing having different interesting options added in later on.Also, the way they worded it, do they mean you can WEAR tabards/belts/shoulders in your dragon form? Like, choose to have your base ones visible as a dragon? Since that would make a lot of sense - those are likely the easiest to implement gear pieces on the dragon bodies - hell, tabards, belts and shoulders might even be "done" already since the body is very likely "based" on an existing ones. (and those are the gear pieces that won't clip)
Can we stay in humanoid form to cast spells or not?@edit, Nvm.
