hey blizz shamans need more love from you
Time to shelf my druid.
It's not the point that regular players are not good enough to be impacted by these healing changes. The point is that raid leaders (also not top-tier players themselves) are the ones that watch these videos and then decide to bench all resto druids. And blizz is in full control of this and chooses to nerf, knowing that this will happen. I just don't understand it. It seems like they are tuning based on world-class players and not the other 99% of players. /smh
Healing has not been fun since 8.0 on my druid. The only quick recovery option we had to pull us out of situations is Tranquility so to see this go is the final nail in the coffin. Just check your groups and raids and see how many druid healers you see, not many compared to Legion. This is just my personal observation from playing a druid for many many years. Either way I just move on, I've been playing WoW long enough not to get frustrated.
This seems to be merely feelycraft and conjecture. The new comparative graph appears to have been simply hand drawn in paint based on opinion.
we only have resto druids for raiding, that's what our healers like playing...
So shaman is going live like this. They went live the way they did in 8.0 so not sure why I'm surprised."Hurr yer mastery will carry ya!" Derpnugget devs...

So I was doing some math myself, because I don't take what I see at face value, and the nerf to tranq is actually harder than what is being said. Tranq on live right now, assuming no stats since haste gives the hot extra ticks, w/o using flourish does 477% spell power, w/ flourish it goes up to 757%.Tranquility in 8.1 w/o flourish will be doing 348.2% spell power ~27% less than live, and w/ flourish doing only 516.2% spell power for ~32% less healing, which makes this a massive nerf to the spell.
Most top end resto druids don't agree with his graph tbh, they might not be great but they're not gonna be really subpar. And anyway, Tranq often overhealed so the HoT nerf isn't as terrible as it looks.
