It's the smart business move to sell the theatrical cut first, then come out with an extended cut later. Most people (myself included) will buy both, because either they *want* to support the film, or they didn't want to wait to own the film until the extended cut was released. However, I do wish they'd just release the extended cut already :P
I'll wait, then. I wanted more.
Director's Cut/Extended Editions tend to require extra work to put together & are usually released at a later date - there's no reason to believe that BOTH the version that the Director finished with & the one that was released are in a position to be set to media.OK; in this day & age, actual film is rarely used & editing is more than likely a digital process done on electronic machinery (PC's, etc), but I still would err on the side of the "two hour 45 min" run NOT being on hand ready to hand over to be produced on 'disk' at the drop of a hat.
I thought the movie was great! Hoping it gets second life from the dvd/home releases somehow....
congrats on the movie make so much. I really liked it myself and am hoping for a sequel. I will be buying the movie and the the one with the extra footage both.
Happy to know that the movie has done so well. Seeing additional scenes in the DvD incorporated into the movie or as extra features content.
I think over the past few builds they've actually switched around which artifact skins and recolors are attained by what means. A lot of the PvP skins switched to different ones.
Whats the point of Mother's Skinning Knife when you have to run to the corpse to loot it before being able to skin it....do they plan on letting us use the Loot A Rang outside of draenor or is there another version of it in legion?
i must say you guys did well but ww monk atrifact or any fist weap is awful really.. =/ so sad
I loved the movie! It was really disappointing to see how negatively bias domestics critics were against Warcraft and how much it impacted the domestic box office. I was so happy to see it still cross the $400M mark thanks to the international and specifically the Chinese market. It goes to show you how off critics can be. Rotten Tomatoes has it hovering around 29-30%, however fans rated it around 86% after watching it.
Typo on the link at the bottom of the post.
In heavy throat growling voice ...Murican audience have failed this movie!
I'll wait to buy the DVD until we get an extended release. If we never get one, then I'll just wait for it to be in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart :(--From what I understand, the Profession quests are not Mandatory, unless you want to improve on your ranks for them. I'm sure you can be perfectly successful without gaining additional ranks. :)They aren't trying to FORCE people to play a way they don't want to, they are trying to give people a reason to continue to explore 'past' content, so that things we've done already, will have a use to go back and visit. They don't like that so much content is just left in the dust once you hit max level, they want to give us incentives to keep going back to different things. They are changing so many things in Legion to try and keep us occupied more, without making it feel super grindy. I think, so far, they are doing a good job.
