Sorry let me just pickup my jaw from the ground.Hot damn, the dedication to do this is amazing.
Always impressive, but something about the yellows in this were just wrong. Didn't look like a warm glow, Removed.
Sorry, but not a fan of this one. It doesn't have the right feel.
Impressive, but it looks like every other MMO out there. Loses the "WoW" feel.
The Dwarf Statue looks a little off, but everything else looks really good.

Sorry but this is not that good. Too much shiny and bloom, low details, low fps. Still deserve a like.
Its look good but i feel like it doesn't have the feeling of Ironforge. Its look more like some spacestation in a horror/futurist/science-fiction game.I always though of iron forge to look like what the moria in LoTR would have look like if completed.
This looks like a high res version of pre-rendered backgrounds from a '90s FMV game.
The thing I love the most about this is really the outside of Ironforge. THAT would be a great background!
Not trying to be a jerk but this looks terrible. I give gratz to the creator for spending so much time on this but a lot of the assets don't match eachother at all. Also the lighting is super wack. Some of the inside areas look nice, like the lava, but overall it was made in a level editor from halo 2.
Holy Gods on Beauty
Unreal Engine used to have a development kit for beginners, UDK. But they made the entire product free to use since 2014. Most of the beginner makes a terrible mistake with unreal engine and which is: couldn't utilize lumination. Unreal itself have endless free materials to use and it's builtin foliage system, ray tracer makes any kind of project "spectacular". Enough with unreal, lets talk about this project. As someone who's using unreal engine for 10 years, I'd say this project was a big failure. Creator did put a lot of time and creativity on it, my full marks on it. But they terribly failed at illumation. A sub-terrain city don't have this much of "lights". Buildings inside the city supposed to have "fire light" not star trek light. Not only that, reflection seems literally "unreal". This engine have endless potentials and they could have done way better than this.
This is something I certainly could never do, but it's a weird mix of ultra-realistic prefab assets and textures against custom modeled stuff that doesn't really have much depth. I think the best part of this is the layout accuracy. Other than that, it feels to me like a mid-90s N64 cinematic.
Amazing work on this, only critique I have its that it looks too shiny and new to be Ironforge, too metallic. When I think of Ironforge, I think of it being aged and dull, not much light except from the glow of the magma... a little soot covered. But still amazing work on this
Definitely looks great and has a lot of work put into. One thing I'm wondering about is why are so many rock walls or surfaces "glossy"? It seems like a lot of surfaces have been made extra shiny and extra super mega "texturized" to look cool but its just not realistic. Also, I don't know if its my computer or the video was rendered at like 5 fps but it stutters like crazy.
It doesnt look like Ironforge at all. It feels like the author tried to put all the effects inside just because he could (engine allowed) and instead he just lost all atmosphere of the city
Impressive, yes, but this hardly looks like Ironforge. Too shiny, too yellow, the statue's arms look awfully skinny. Honestly I thought I was looking at some sort of futuristic scene. Like I thought maybe this was Midgar but different. My other biggest critique is the use of color. I see red, black, and brown in one photo. Yellow, light brown, and even green in another. Orange, red, black and PURPLE in another. I'm sorry but these colors just are not balanced enough to work like this. I'm not saying you couldn't ever make these colors work together, but they absolutely do not work in these proportions. I honestly don't know what went wrong, if the artist was using a bad reference, or if maybe they just got way too creative (which pains me to say) but one of the most important parts of art is choosing colors that work well in tandem with each other.
anyone else prefer ingame ironforge?
