A profession knowledge catch-up is a must!
I'd really like to know how many clicks these articles get. I always read them, and 99% of the time they advise to just buy mats off the AH to level professions. That's 100% not the best way to do it. They don't share their farm spots, and any strats they advise are just to trick the casuals into buying their mats off the AH.Key example:
The problem I have with crafting is that when they bumped the number of Public Crafts that you can do from 20 to 4, I now get charged twice for fulfilling one public crafting order. I put in tickets and bug reports everyday with no change. So, in reality I am only able to fulfill 2 public crafting orders in a 4-day period.
I'm a sucker for those gold farming videos, but nothing new there. Rehash of things that everyone already knows about. But when he says he made 40k gold with 127k on the AH, that's a 40k gold farm, not a 167k gold farm. Just because you post it doesn't mean it will sell. Can't believe there are that many players that don't already have Garn Nighthowl.
If you have alt crafters let them spend the Mettle for your main toon that is specialized. Then get the item recrafted at a real specialized crafter.
Crafting system right now is too much investment for zero reward imo. Also, if you're just wanting to craft for alts then the things you can realistically make are kind of underwhelming.:/
Quoting someone saying "stop taking our items for recraft orders..." shows the seriousness level here lolWowhead used to have nice information for many things, maybe many of them were found in comments but they were useful which is rare now. Ever since end of BFA, all I see on highlighted posts are just pure redirection posts (to another 3rd party), and mainly based on some players' grunt. This is a bad direction for platform in my opinion.
