man i hope not... personal loot is one of the best decisions they have made for this game
This is a mistake.
if they are thinking of bringing back master loot they might as well bring back coins to use to have another chance at loot
Boss drops what it drops and that's that. Trade it to people in your party, who cares. You can have that one for free Blizz
Wow, i hope they don't bring that back. If they did i'd actually be tempted to quit the game;
Master loot is heavily desirable for people that want to progress as a - Guild - and less so as an individual player.Personal Loot is preferred by people that are - in general - "I want to make MY Character stronger. That is my contribution to the raid" Better luck next raid everyone else.It is about your playstyle and what you, the player, values.
raiding Nathria and being restricted by Personal Loot rules made that tier one of my least favorite.i can't imagine anyone else ever using personal
Harder content should be whats eligible for master loot. Let Normal difficulty stay Personal.
Guild master loot is fine and I wouldn't mind it but personal loot should still remain a thing for things like pugs
Masterloot is good for guilds only. Hopefully they put it back the way it was to where 80% have to be in the guild to use it. I have gotten screwed out of loot lots due to masterloot. But I still prefer it over personal loot. Personal should be for pugs group. Plus it seems to make more people want to be in a guild and raid.
Return the master loot for guild trips. Tired of each time collecting clothes from the raiders that they do not need and handing them out manually! Damn
Simple solution:Only allow Master Looting an option for the guilds who achieve Mythic Hall of Fame for any raid tier that expansion. We don't want it for pugs. That problem is fixed.The only people who want ML is for guilds who are in the top 200 and compete for being at the top. Outside of the top 200, gear doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if your guild leader or officer wants to allocate gear, if you're a guild outside of hall of fame, that gear will literally have no effect on your overall ranking anyway.Casual guilds shouldn't have ML, only the higher end guilds, who raid mythic. Having ML for hall of fame guilds will solve every problem; casuals will be happy pugging with personal loot; casual guilds who raid heroic will be happy they have personal loot; the guilds in the top 200 will be happy they have ML.Problem solved.
If you are saying this is a bad idea. You are clearly not the person this will effect to begin with. They clearly want it to be a Guild group only feature. In pugs I am sure personal loot will be the custom. And, if you are in a guild where you don't trust them to do master loot properly. Why tf are you in that guild? These are all things you can solve. Personal loot just feels like %^&*. I love killing a boss and seeing 25 gold on it's corpse. Very fun. I'd rather see the items we worked for as a guild and auction them off via rolls rather than this "Dang I got this item that is !@#$ for me that I can't give to anyone else looks like I have to literally DESTROY that item."
