Cool to see how this is created, great job!
a moment of recognition
I love the artwork in wow. I wish I could draw!
Say what you want about game mechanics policy and what not, but you can't deny that the art behind Blizzard games is top notch.

Looks great. I love see step-by-step drawing when random-looking lines become beautiful art.
The artists Blizzard do a great job, every year the game becomes more traced for what they thank you very much, but I would like to. To pay more attention to detailing the armor and weapons.
The tremendous amount of work behind this..
Wow, this looks so complicated, well done team

As always, art is top notch. The problem is that the content that is added on top of this art is a letdown.
I hope she doesn't look so stiff in game haha
As modeling, texturing and drawing is my hobby, I've got a lot of inspiration watching this panel. These guys are just awesome, really creative and very precise. This was my favorite panel at BlizzCon!
Amazing to see how talented these artists are. They make it look so easy but there must be so much work that we didn't see because of time limits.
Really talented people, shame that WoW became more of an epic storytell then an actual MMOrpg. It's more of a single player experience since WoD.
I always loved Blizzard's art, and WoW's specifically. Well, up until Cataclysm, that is. While the execution is still top notch and keeps improving, which is no small feat considering the engine age and restrictions, I think the overall creativity has been lacking for quite some time. It's hard to express my exact feelings in English as it's not my language, but basically, I always felt races designs and architecture were takes on existing or lost, real, civilizations, like, Night Elves architecture is inspired by medieval Japan, or Qirajis clearly take from Egypt. But always, they'd twist and iterate until the source felt like an inspiration rather than a copy.I think this ended with Cataclysm. Worgens are Victorian England. Tolvir are Egypt ( and Uldum is Stargate Egypt overall ). Pandarens are medieval China. Zandalari are ancient Maya.Of course a point could be made about specific cases, like Suramar / nightborne being quite their own thing, but most of the time I feel like the design of WoW has gone dull and uninspired. It's more and more beautiful, just ... Not very unique anymore. Which isn't helped by the fact the content itself is really starting to show signs of weakness and fatigue. It's been running for 15 years after all.Still, I wish those artists the best. I am a CG artist myself, so I know what it is. And it's fun to see what softwares they are working with. 3D coat, 3DSmax, Photoshop... We are more on the Substance / Maya side ourselves ! :p
