YES Lor'themar thank you! And just freaking destroy the Sunreavers, at least the ones who still go against Lor'themar! And thank you Thalyssra. This however tell me, that Thrall, Lor'themar or Saurfang will die though. Lor'themar is still supposed to die in flames at least according to a vision from Liadrin's stories.
Hm, Jaina was avid to kill all Horde members, yet after the Zandalar battle she asked the Alliance to stop. Perhaps Baine delivering Derrek had indeed softened her bloodthirst. And perhaps meeting Thrall reminded her of peaceful time.I had hoped Jaina would at least admit killing innocent Sunreavers, but I guess that gesture was above her, or at least she'd not acknowledge it while on enemy ground. Thus far, Blizz had failed at portraying a true morally gray character. Sylvanas had her reasons for her actions, yes, but what has been revealed were not convincing. And I really hope it's not another old-god-influence.
Aw man, we're killing the Black Bride now? RIP, old Arathi basin Battlemaster (Horde side, obviously).
After reading all these spoilers I really hope we have a new faction, with Sylvannas as the leader. I'm really tired of these clichés, ''putting our differences aside to fight for the great good''. So boring. Hopefully we have new and exciting chapters where we can keep deciding which fate we want for our characters, and not blindly follow the same ''leaders'' (Thrall, Saurfang, Jaina, etc) to do something we don't fully agree with, like rescuing Baine. I think it would be great for the game, a fresh new and exciting history.
Yeah! Sylvanas will burn!
Not Siege of Orgrimmar 2.0, huh? Looks like it to me.
I'm not buying the whole 3 faction talk. If anything I stand to my pre BfA statement when they've announced war mode. They will stop the 2 faction gameplay altogether as it is cheaper to design 1 story instead of 2 different ones just to end up in the same locations regardless. Even the raids with faction bosses have people as non-explained faction swap / color swaps in them. The future is one story - one direction Removed
This is... incredibly bad.. and sad..imagine being a belf/zandalari and helping JAINA who just commanded the alliance to sack an allied city and killing everyone in her path. or the one responsible for the purge of dala.or imagine being a nelf and having to help saurfang who is the maximum responsible for teldrassil.oh christ.why we even are having this stupid faction war if we are literally doing the same? everyone will blame sylvanas and that's it?
yeaaaaaaaaa this is sooooo not SoO 2.0......sylvanas is totally not gonna be Garrosh 2.0........OH WAIT YES SHE IS and why? because blizz has given up on making good storylines and just wants to reuse boring stale stories....newsflash horde was boring when thrall and them ran it.....least now we aint female cats ;)
Man, I want to help Baine, really do, but fighting against Sunreavers alongside Jaina feels super wrong to me after what she did in Dalaran... not an easy choice to make.
Honestly unless Sylvanas pulls a "Yes, all according to the plan" twist how is this not MoP 2?And I kinda have the hope it might be so? We have too many mentions of Sylvanas having a plan, another goal, yet we are not closer to knowing what that is, and while by this time during MoP Garrosh's motives were rather clear, we still don't know what is Sylvanas deal.
This is such a damn joke... They spent so much of their time promising us that this would not be a repeat of Mists of Pandaria- that we would not have "Garrosh 2.0"- and yet again, the Horde draws the short stick and are portrayed as the problematic faction. Why is it that we never heard of the reopening of the Underhold prior to this (during Legion)? Why is it that the Horde is dismantling some of its most interesting sub-factions for the sake of Christie Golden's bad writing? The Sunreavers were an interesting faction, and they still are considering that they have a good reason to be a little miffed over the Alliance- but this is simply dissatisfying. A lot of this is dissatisfying actually: What does Blizzard expect to achieve here? Is the "plot twist" that they were planning to recycle old-content all along? If so it's a pretty mediocre twist at best- completely asinine at worst. Before people jump on me for being a pure cynic (as cynical as I might be) I'll admit that the portrayal of Azshara in other articles looks quite nice- I love that she's able to spy on us wherever we take action. But I'm beginning to believe that the storyline of Azshara is being completely subverted in favor of this story of rebellion which is nothing short of yet another denigration of the Horde- both its plot, and playerbase.I wish that Battle for Azeroth could have been a simple wartime expansion- not one with a definitive evil-side and good-side, but one with a mixture of complex and morally-gray wartime action. There is nothing morally gray about this though; for Blizzard, the Horde are evil, whereas the Alliance are good.
