All hunter specs are still worst and need another round of buffs...
And again what is going on with hunters? We got 3 dps spec by default . In reality we got none :).
It’s funny how people look at these logs as the holy grail. Not thinking that it all depends on the player, guild, and fight. Hunter or rogue can be at the bottom of the list by this but in your guild etc you can be top DPS. Because most people today in wow stick to the meta and few people know how to play it and all other r just meta slaves with bad dps xD Don’t despair play what you love and know. Everything is individual! However we are not competing for world first and we are not all in Echo or Method lol
Hunter brings no raid buff, is extremely squishy and does sh1t dps. Sure, you can play hunter and clear things but that doesn't change the fact, that hunter sux. And sucking isn't very fun.
True minmaxers is not the same as meta slaves that just blindly follows mythic builds and rankings, even if they will never be able to compete on that level. And that is why mythic parses is completely irrelevant for the majority of games whom -never- will get there.
So the question is - why not? Because it's overcomplicated, because class/spec is boring, because they just don't care, etc etc.
So, to those saying "ignore it, it's only mythic...."What's your advice to a mythic raiding hunter then?
You can still do top dps on below average specs, just get good gear and you should be fine. Nothing wrong going meta either :)
"It's just mythic people", "bottom can easily out dps top its only a matter of skill" "If you fold up the charts and look at them trough the sun you can actually see its pretty balanced".... Last 5 is the exact same in heroic and mythic and the rest has only small variations, not to mention that all percentile is not looking any better.Face it more buffing is needed this problem won't solve itself. Its like the unicorn priest joke of hearthstone at this point, players saying these things just don't know they're the ones stating unicorn balance exist.
Also, saying a class needs buffs/nerfs is totally different to actually buffing/nerfing it. You can slap them with a blanket %change, sure, but if there's a particular part of the kit that's problematic but the rest is in-line, then do you just %change it, or do you look at altering the problematic portion? Do you muck around with resource generation, do you slightly alter CDs (Evang in early BfA, for example), etc. There's a tonne of moving parts, and honestly it's impressive to me that--after factoring in meme garbage, under-played specs, and the fact that so many fights have radically different damage profiles--things are as close as they are.
