Looks like come Mists of Pandaria, we won't have to use Runes or reagents anymore, I can't tell if I'm happy or a bit sad =\

As of the 28th of August (US Realms)/29th of August (EU Realms) 2012 teleportation reagents for mages are being removed with the launch of the Mists of Pandaria pre-patch: 5.0.4.
Gone the way of ammunition, Rune of Portals and Rune of Teleportation will no longer be purchasable from vendors, becoming grey items with a sell price of 5 silver and 2 silver 50 copper respectively (roughly ¼ of purchase price).
