Anyone considering attaining this title my find it easier if you use a couple of addons.....Everyquest, which gives a full list of all quests and the location of its starter or Zygor guides, the newest version of which actually has a Loremaster tab allowing you to select an area, the guide will then fill in any quests you have already completed and move on to the next step.

I got this back before Cataclysm was released and hindsight says it was so much better than now. You actually had to do quests everywhere and not skip anything because the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor achievements weren't zone by zone, but continent wide. You had to hunt down the most obscure quests and it gave you a real appreciation for the world and exploration. Now you can skip this and that and its just not as involving. Sure you get story lines, but your "discovery & exploration" is crippled by the hand holding...it leaves you feeling empty.

Edit: Perhaps I should clarify. The problem with the current loremaster with the revamp is that almost every zone is just one big chain per zone. Sure there are quite a few zones and that takes effort, but that's about as much time as prior to cata. But a Loremaster doesn't just learn lore starting at A and ending at Z. A loremaster hunts down little obscure details. If everything is handed to you on a silver platter, sure you can eat it, but where's the satisfaction? To search out the little nuts and berries and experience them hidden away is truly rewarding.

This title can be obtained at the moment by anything level 84+. I got it on my Hunter before hitting 85, as she was at first going to be an 84 twink. It makes me wonder if the same thing can happen in Mists of Pandaria at 89!

I was able to complete this using just the quest list on my character page on this website and a lot of alt-tabbing. There are a few zones that leave you hunting for that one last quest seed, and there's others where you're finished in the middle of a chain. Having done the bulk of the achievement post-Cataclysm, I can say there's a LOT of deja vu. A lot of the old world quests were either tweaked just enough that they're now "new", or you lost credit for having completed them before. At level 85, you can easily complete an entire zone in just a few hours, with the exception of Northrend.

If you are going to do this achievement I'd recommend downloading the Loremaster addon, available here: http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/loremasteraddon - to sum up it plots markers on your map to show you where the quests are that you haven't completed.

If you install Lightheaded and TomTom as in the setup instructions on Curse you will be able to have waypoints set to the quests, a log that will tell you which quests you have and haven't done, which lead onto quest lines etc. As well as that you will get an expandable part to your quest log which will let you view comments from wowhead in game to save you alt-tabbing for anything you are having trouble with!

I had been using EveryQuest prior to using this addon, but experienced a lot of issues with it (probably due to it being so outdated). Loremaster works with 4.3 though and I can't recommend it enough for this achievement!
