With the rerouting of Alliance ship routes in 3.0.x this is no longer as simple a trip as before. Now, a level 20-ish character must sail to Stormwind, take the tram to Ironforge, then hoof it all the way around to Menethil. At least now you're traveling in the "right" direction and can pick up some extra quests along the way.

The best way to travel to Menthil Harbor is by traveling to Dustwallow March. Than u can take the boat that goes to Menethil Harbor. You still need to walk a bit if you don't have the flying path route, but its straight on than travel to Stormwind/Ironforge.

Quickest and safest way is to kindly ask a mage for a portal to Theramore, take the boat from there, and hearthstone back.

greywhisker is on the western lip of the temple in darnasus. hes actually pretty hard to find unless you head that way. i walked all around the city and couldnt find him.

shandra1174, your taking the wrong boat, the one that you need Burning Crusade takes you to Azuremyst Isle, the one you need to take is the boat that takes you to Menethil Harbor which is the left boat when you walk onto the docks from the town.

To clear up the confusion, Chief Archaeologist Greywhisker, the quest *giver* is in the Temple of the Moon in Darnassus. He's the one that tells you to go to Menethil Harbor.

To get to Menethil Harbor and turn the quest in, you have to go to Rut'theran village from Darnassus and fly or take the boat to Auberdine. From Auberdine, go to the boat on the western side of the docks. This will take you to Menethil Harbor in the Wetlands.

There should be a sign post on the docks in Auberdine that will point you toward the right boat if you're not sure which one it is.

You complete this quest in the Wetland. Menethil Harbor is located in the Wetlands and the Flagongut can be found on the second floor of the inn @ 10,60.

Descrizione

This fossil bears a striking resemblance to one I once saw in Ironforge. An archaeologist by the name of Flagongut brought it to our annual Explorers' League conference. He believed the fossil had a power which could be unlocked somehow.

Last I heard Flagongut had holed up in the Deepwater Tavern in Menethil Harbor, awaiting escort to the Whelgar Excavation Site. Seek him out and show him Remtravel's fossil. Perhaps he can reveal the secrets of the past.
