Since I only started playing at about Patch 2.1, I can't sing enough praises for this repeatable turn-in quest. I always have large stacks of these items lying around, and now I can turn them in for a free 314 instant honor. Awesome!

This quest is not available until level 61, because it requires EOTS marks, which is currently only 61-70. Therefore if it scales, it scales starting at 61, not 51.

My 60 hunter cannot get this quest, it shows as grey exclamation.

This quest looks to be the best method to gain rep with the Silverwing Sentinels. Of course, the only perk that comes with that is the rank of "Justicar". But still, it beats an umpteen billion flag captures.

I fully understand if people are getting confused by this. Blizzard may have changed the level requirement on this quest due to players being unable to enter EOTS (Eye of the Storm), which was mentioned by Joatmon.

I'm both for and against giving rep on each turn-in for this quest. As of right now, even players who have achieved some of the most repetitive tasks in World of Warcraft are giving up on getting exalted with all three battleground factions, as you can easily end up recieving no reputation from a 1 hour WSG match, making the grind near impossible. Unfortunately, a few extremely dedicated players have completed this grind - and their efford would (I wont say in vain, as they still have the title) lose a lot of its value, if it was made easier. There is of course also the group of players who gained exalted with them all before the repeatable rep reward was removed. Some would probably see this as unfair, but could be compared to players who recieved items that are no longer available.

At level 80, this quest does not require strand marks.

At level 80 this quest gives 930 bonus honor per turn in.

and it is repeatable :).

as a level 80 mage, i am not able to turn in my Alterac Valley marks, just WSG, SotA, AB, and EotS marks for this quest and upon turning in this quest i recieve 4g 40s and around 1200 honor points.

With patch 3.3.3 and each mark of honor now being work 185 honor, is it even worth turning this quest in once you've done it once?

in-fact this quest shouldn't even exist any more after patch 3.3.3 (but they may bring back tokens in cata i heard can anyone confirm?)

From what i know this quest can't be finished now since there is no way to gain Marks of honor

EDIT: Made a ticket to GM today and he confirmed that this quest can't be done anymore unless you had Marks before they were taken out .

Does anyone know what the xp reward is for turning in all three at once. I know at 56(and I assume the whole 50-59 bracket) WSG gives 3200, AB gives 3200, and AV gives 3300 so if I have 3 of each, will the concerted efforts give more than turning in seperately? I'm guessing not since the initial xp reward is 8300 but does anyone know what the xp reward is anyway?

I would like to know that as well... it'll be a long time before i have WSG tokens again. WSG holiday should be every weekend since we play AB/AV during the week w/ no holiday :P

Upon initial completion at level 60, and already exalted with Stormpike Guard, I received:

4 Gold & 98 Silver.
150 Reputation with The League of Arathor.
150 Reputation with Silverwing Sentinels.
2388 honor points.

I just handed this in (the first handin, non repeatable) in IF. I was awarded with:

314 Honor Points
11g 99s
No rep.

I assume I'd get rep from the repeatable hand in? But would need another players input.

Pretty disheartening for an Alliance player. First Eye of the Storm I ever did, was a Russian premade. The way Blizz get more Alliance players in these bgs is by increasing the rep gains by 400%, and giving 3 marks even for a loss.

For arguments sake, as a Paladin with no flag caps. I gained 100 rep for winning a WSG bg. To reach exalted with SS, I'd need 450 WSG matches. If this were increased by 400%, it would still take 105 bgs to reach exalted with JUST SS. That's still a considerable amount of pvp, but sets a much more positive outlook for an alliance player. And for those who saying, "But then Alliance would just afk and deliberately lose", there are teams doing that anyway. Better to increase the player pool to get some willing pvper than leave it in it's current state.

Horde should still get more honor for their wins. Alliance don't engage with pvp, because it's not worth their time. Even if the honor gains aren't there, they'd at least get a new mount every 30 matches, and with the emphasis on reps in TBC, I'm sure people would play to green off their pvp rep bars as well.

After the Phase 3 patch changes, the repeated version of this quest now gives 629 honor compared to before.

We're not fighting isolated battles against the Horde anymore, <lad/lass>.

Victory in one front means denying the Horde resources they'd use against us in a different battle. By the same token, abandoning any given battle could give the advantage to our opponent somewhere else around the world.

The Alliance is in need of more combatants with this sort of worldly understanding... truly seasoned veterans! <name>, come back to me after you've served against the Horde at all of our active battlegrounds.
