First of all please don't be misdirected like me. Trol'kalar is a sword not a humanoid.

The chaple is where you killed the prince in the 3rd part of the quest chain.

As you pass the bridge to get to the chaple, turn right. There will be a few defenders along the way. You'll arrive at the crypt. Go down the crypt. There are 3 protectors there. Slay them and the coffin like object in front of you is Trollbane's tomb.

This was easy being a level 70 druid. I just stealhed all the way. I did this quest chain because Darkspear Trolls rep is so hard to obtain as they don't have a cloth qaurtermaster to turn in cloth for rep.

If you, like me group, are too lazy to fight the same mobs again from the previous quest in the chain, here's a neat corpse run trick, that works especially well for this place.

1) Have all party members buff up right before you engage the mobs. Damage absorbing spells are especially crucial.
2) Run in! Keep running until you are across the bridge. If your party begins to run low on health mages should use frost nova and other classes instacast earthbinding abilities. (I'm playing a mage, so I don't know about any other classes skills)
3) When you cross the bridge, turn left. When you die, make sure you do so with you corpse as close to the fence as possible!
4) When you go to revive your corpse instead of turning left after the bridge, turn right and run around the house there, to the other side of the fence at which you died.
5) Ress yourself and finish the quest.

This may not be that much faster, but my group had been doing this long series of quest for 4 hours and we didn't want to kill the same mobs again. Also, instead of having to fight 25+ mobs, there are only 1-3 + the 3 defenders, which by the way can be solo pulled.

Believe it or not, I was able to solo this one as a 39 Warrior. Took some special tricks, however, that probably were not intended to be used this way. I did the corpse run trick all the way down into the tomb, using piercing howl on every guard who came near. Then when I retrieved my corpse in the crypt stairway, I bandaged up and dashed into the burial chamber. When the keepers attacked me, I used Intimidating Shout which feared them all for 8 seconds, just long enough for me to action the tomb, and complete the quest. I then was able to grab the new quest right before I died. At that point, I simply resurrected at the Graveyard and ran back to Hammerfall to finish the chain.

Simply shameful, how easy it was.

The corpse run idea is awesome. I was so tired of killing the same guys i decided to give it a try. Worked like a charm. Three lvl 41's in the crypt. I aggro'd 2 of them and killed them on the stairs and then went back for the other. As for getting out, I mounted up as soon as I was out of the crypt, rode to the bridge and jumped over it to the main path into Stromgarde. I made it out with 95% of my health still intact!
Done as a solo 41 Ret Pally.... I was a little behind on my Arathi quests!

Simply pulled out the "boss" and the two adds
followed him, I let my pet tank the "boss" while
I tanked the two adds, after the boss died, I
used feign death and let my pet tank the adds.
Killed the adds, looted the "boss" and left.

solo'd in about one minute. (Lvl 41 mage). Used the hole to the right of the gate to skip through part of the alliance area and ran past the guards with ice armor and mana shield up, blinking whenever possible.
When I entered the tomb, I used Frost Nova to keep the mobs away from me while I finished the quest, then I just ran out.
Only had to kill one pesky mob that wouldn't stop following me.

lvl 41 Warrior, If you don't mind corpse running just Mount in 3 times get across the bridge its on the right all the way in the back... stand on the stairs when you res Kill the 3 and you have the room to your self...
Other wise Kill them one by one after the bridge However is a 45, he will make you PVP. Careful. I did it beat him and some Play came in and killed me, so after i corpse ran back and made it near the door to go down in the tomb, there are 2 39 or 40s there as well... if you corpse run in Stone out and then go turn it in in Hammer fall... bring healing potions... I used 4 Superiors, but fought 2 and 3 guys at a time, Agro Magnet...

Don't know whats up with all this corpse running, looking at gates of Stromgarde look to the right and follow the cliff around and you will find a hole in the wall. Your basicly right at the bridge.. clear across the bridge then your good to go, just solo'd as a 39 warrior.

This one was easy as a lvl 38 warr. I just killed all the mobs to the tomb took me about 3-4 mins then i went down killed the three guys took the quest item and hearthed back to Hammerfall :P

Fortunately all the mobs in here can be single pulled. Do note however that they run away in fear when near death... which can pose a bit of a problem if you can't stun them or hit Seal of Justice.

Solo'd this as Level 41 frost mage. Very easy.

Heres exactly how I did it:

1. Enter Stromgarde Keep and use ICE BARRIER then get on your mount
2. Run in forward, turn right, continue through the arch turn right, continue forward then turn at your next available right again which should take you over the bridge.
3. Switch to your mana shield when your ice barrier runs out
4. Run over the bridge now and you should see a cabin... take a right before the cabin and go through the gates and continue until you reach the steps which will take you underground. Stop on the bottom platform and kill ANY followers. I only had 1.
5. Kill the Caretakers 1 by 1 then complete the quest by right clicking the tomb.

Easy! I've uploaded a screenshot of what the Tomb looks like when you get to the bottom of the stairs.

The mobs in the crypt are easy to dispatch and worth as much as "elite" mobs of the same level. If you kill all 3 in a relatively short timeframe and come back 5-7 minutes later, all 3 will have respawned. If you are banking or just hanging out in shat and can switch to your lower level char every 7-10 minutes, this is an AWESOME GRINDING SPOT. With relatively "no" work, you can gain 2-4% of your level every 5-10 minutes.

This was a fairly easy run..... Managed to only get onto the bridge before I died (lvl 42 warlock), could've made it further if I didn't have about 10 soldiers running after me, haha.

But yeah, only had to kill 3 guards before getting to the tomb, then killed the three caretakers. Nice xp, short time.

The only complication in this quest for me were the 3 alliance guys in the town area before the bridge. But of course not everyone will encounter that, it was just my bad luck :P

Yes, if you are alliance you go right just after you've reached the first aid trainer. But as this quest is only for the horde you could search for a first aid trainer in arathi highlands.

But some very easy words are just that you go as much to the right as you can to get to the bridge.

When you passed the bridge, you go to the right side of the house and run straight forward.

This will lead you to the tomb where the quest can be completed.

Down in the tomb you will probably find 3 caretakers wich will require help or just a matter of overpowering gear/level.

Simply just click on the chest and your quest will be completed.

NOTE: There are very many adds on the way to the tomb aswell, so when you see the bridge as soon as you enter the keep you could die right under the bridge. So you can corpserun 1 time instead of geting dazed and unmounted from mobs on the way that will make you corpserun 2 times.

for lazy ppl like me: it's not neccessary to run through all these mobs to get onto the bridge, you can get up on the bridge directly:

i came from the north as usual, then jumped between the pillar and the wall on the right side, landed on something there, and from there on the bridge. might have had something to do with me being on that fat kodo mount that gets stuck everywhere, though, so not sure this will be possible for other races

Dunno what's up with everyone and corpse running and what not... these guys are so easy to kill, why not spend the extra minute and get a little more xp? No point or need to go excessively out of your way to avoid killing anything...

Solo'ed as 39 ret pally. From the main gate, followed the wall on the right, there's a small gap between the buildings and the wall you can squeeze through... tauren may have an issue there. Had to take out a troll hunter in the corner by the bridge, and two guards by the bridge. There's a pat that goes out on the bridge but if you're patient you can avoid it, or just cut it down. Two guards on the other side of the bridge. You can shortcut through the trellis and then there's just 2 defenders in your way to the tomb. The clothies inside the tomb are easy, and there's the end of this part of the quest...

A warning when you cut through the trellis though... 2 defenders will come right at you when you do, and if you decide to take them out right there, be careful not AOE'ing or cleaving too close to Deneb Walker (the alliance vendor). Hitting him WILL turn you pvp, and it will be announced on the alliance defense channels. Depending on what realm you're on, someone just might come looking for an easy HK.

Trol'Kalar is the tomb in the crypt. on the Alli side. Be carrefull. there's 1 Alli vendor standing between the mobs on your way to the crypt. If you kill him you'll be PvP flagged.
The vendor Stands at {27,0 - 58,8} You can attack him but he won't attack you untill attacked upon. He's name is red, but don't care. His name is Deneb Walker

A tips for Hunters: You can use disengage to jump up on the bridge from below. Just pull a voidwalker, kill its master, let pet take aggro on voidwalker, get up on the small brown boxes under the bridge (with your back against the bridge) and jump upwards + disengage. Might take a few tries but its nice if you dont feel like killing all the mobs on the way there.

I did this as a lvl 39 disc priest, it was fairly simple. all i did was bubble mount up and run in, when i got dismounted i just kept going to the tomb and i bubbled and renewd when needed and once i got in the tomb, i psychic screamed and quickly opened the tomb, handed in the quest, took the new quest and ran out

Solo'd as a level 41 disc priest. pretty standard. Shield up, DOT the first one you can get LOS on, Devouring Plague and Shadow word pain. I got two to come, so I DOT'd the second one too. Wanded them down. They did eat my shield pretty quick, so I had to heal a couple times and re-shield a lot. Third guy aggroed when one of the first guys went running in fear, but by the time they run in fear, as long as you have kept your DOT's up, you don't have to worry about targeting them until they die. They will just die running around taking your damage, so basically the third guy was solo.

I actually killed my way in, cause hey, XP is XP and it isn't like the mobs are tough to deal with. ^^ Just be mindful of your Mana pool.

Enjoy! All in all, a long, but fun quest chain.

As of this writing, Trol'kalar is NOT obsolete. I did it with my lvl 30 Shadow Priest. I got it from Galen Trollbane at 12.96, 36.12 in the Arathai Highlands, and turned it in there.

To get to the tomb/crypt, pass under the bridge, then turn right. Fight a few guards while keeping right. You'll have to go around the buildings while staying on the right until you get to the bridge. It'll be the same one you passed under at the entrance, but this time you'll be on top of it. Pass the trellis's and turn right again just before the building ahead. Then turn left and go thru trellis/tunnel. Its a short walk/ride to the crypt/building. Go down. There are 2 easy guys to kill. Take the sword, then head back to Galen Trollbane to turn it in.

He gives you another quest. Alina's Reward.

I haven't done that one yet.

Easily soloed it with a lvl 29 Forsaken Affliction Warlock. No pots, only drains. There aren't so many guards on the way and you can avoid most of them if you run carefully. Like it was said before, the keepers inside the crypt can be lured one by one, so it's not that hard to clear them...

Behind the chapel.. down the tomb.. kill 3 guys.. and retrieve Trol'kalar (a sword) from the tomb of Trollbane.. its simble.. a great catafalque in the back of the room.

go through the garden to the right of the chapel (where the prince is), straight down the crypt, taking out a few defenders along the way. kill off the 3 crypt keeper guys, then head straight to the tomb. Right click it, click through the quest stuff, then return to hammerfall and end the whole damn series.

i did it as a 41 rogue
stealthed all the way into the crypt
when i got inside i used distract to get behind the coffin
i made sure my vanish and blind were ready to use
i first used sap on the guy right in front of the coffin then if the guy from the left came i used blind on him and if (didnt happen to me) guy on the right comes use vanish and click the crypt and hopefully you get it in time

The three cryptkeepers are tough, but you can pull and fight them one at a time. Easier than the previous quest, actually. Unlike the other mobs in the area, they will run when they hit about 20% health, so hamstring or something is good.

I solo'd this as a 42 rogue, the damn caretakers kept parrying my blind (gg bliz).

So I took the corner caretaker, killed him, then restealthed, sap'd the one near the tomb after i distracted the third so he was looking away, looted the tomb and HS'd my undead butt out of there ;-)

freakin badass. 46 rogue, stealthed inside, sapped the guy close to the coffin, immediately blinded the other guy who got aggroed, ran over and opened the thing, then just clicked complete like crazy. Then here's the fun part, I nail my sprint hotkey and fly outta there with a huge train of soldiers on my tail, leap over the bridge and I'm gone :-)

Here's how i soloed as 46 loc for those who have no group or cant find one. (Obviuosly only pertains to other loc's)
Mount up and turn right BEFORE entering Strom and ride a short way round till you see hole in wall.
Cont' riding and jump in and turn left, cross bridge and veer right once over bridge entering area BEHIND chapel containing Prince Galen Trollbane. All the mobs that followed me i was able to lose in that small area behind chapel by hiding behind the crypt with Trol'Kalar in it. Now just use VW to agro all 3 guys down in crypt while you get Trol'Kalar then run straight out. i died running out but used SS to rez and cont' running and bailed over bridge they cant follow quest complete hand in

Just mount up and run all the way back to the Crypt and around the corner to the left. The guys will not follow you forever. They give up. All 3 Caretakers can be pulled one at a time. No spawn at the crypt either. Just be sure you keep your hearth at Arathi for the turn in Quest.

Yeah just do a right when at chapel, can kill caretakers 1 by 1, just be careful cuz they run, then click on the tomb. What i dont understand is why u don't get the sword as a rewars, just some sucky mail or shield.

The quest is marked as completed before you embark on it, but just ignore that. As already said above, you just hang a right down a "paved" road to the right of the chapel that you did in the Stromgarde quest right before this.

Go down the staircase and you will have to defeat 3 level 41 Human NPC's then you just click on the grave thing with a question mark on it. Typical of the game, there are no animations to indicate that you actually opened the tomb, but hey - what is your imagination for?

Don't forget on the way back home to Hammerfall: Nail the level 45 NPC, Deneb Walker selling scrolls and stuff right outside of the crypt. Who wants to face some dumbass Alliance person with scrolls equipped? Do you duty, man.

Don't use coords or Cosmos or whatever.

What are you guys talking about? The exp is perfect. you get around 3k from killing the 3 caretakers and when you start the follow-up quest, and hand it in, you get 6k exp! Perfect

the easiest way to get to the tomb, should u have a mount is, once u enter stromgarde, jump up onto the bridge while on our mount, keep jumping on the right hand side of the bridge, u can get up there, im a tauren on a kodo, keep trying it can be done, and will save u time and u wont have to fight as many mobs, once on the bridge head towards the enclosed area where the last quest was based, but this time rather than entering the room ahead of u, go right ( after clearing guards ) head down into the crypt slowly, try to pull the mobs here slowly, i had no problems killing two at a time im a sammy lvl 42. take it easy not rush in and ur be ok, ppl with leather armor etc may need help, but i found the quest a walkthru

Solo'd at level 40 Paladin. Went in through hole in wall on the rightside of entrance. Avoided as many as possbile. Mounted and ran over bridge towards the Chapel. Turned right, pulled all the guards. Go behind the crypt, there's a little area there and most of the guards wont follow. Maybe one or two. Dispatch them, go down into crypt. The caretakers are spread out enough so you can pull one at a time. Accidentally pulled two, but managed to take care of them with only 50% health loss. Get the sword and hearth back.
Done, easy. 6k xp for quest at lvl 40, not sure how much i got for kills.

You dont really have to do anything special.... go the the tomb and just range pull the right guy, then the center one, then the left one, they all pull by themself, if you can kill a 41 you can do this quest, i did it easily as a level 39.

Pretty easy to get there ...

When you enter the stromgarde keep, go right.
there you'll pass 2 defenders that you'll have to kill.
After that follow the path to the right and then just keep following it. After you cross a little bridge that you can see when you first enter stromgarde you'll see the chapel

Just like There said: it's a crypt behind where you killed the prince. To the right you will see an alliance trainer you can kill (without getting PvP) just when you see someone is about to talk to him and laugh when you see him jump up and around helplessly. You will also see a gate with two guards and more guards on the other side of the passage. Then the crypt dead ahead. Go down, and it's there.

OK, you go to the front of the building where you killed prince galen.

There's the two pairs of guards on either end of the bridge, the guard on the left side of the courtyard, and the two guards & the ally merchant on the right side of the courtyard. You should've seen them all when you were going to kill Galen anyway.

The pairs of bridge guards are double pulls, all the rest are single pulls & you can ignore the tailor (he's PVP flagged anyway nowadays).

Take the right hand path. You'll see one guard at the end of a vine covered walkway thingy.

Go into the crypt. There are 3x 41 elite crypt caretakers. We single pulled one, but they run when on low health so we ended up fighting the other two simultaneously immediately afterwards. Then just use the crypt, accept the next quest & run back to hammerfall to hand it in. Went through fast enough that we didn't have to worry about respawns so we just ran out clean & jumped off the bridge.

Did this, the quest before it (galen) & the follow on with a 39 resto shammie (me) & a 45 rogue. This leg of the quest chain is significantly easier than galen, but caution is still sensible.

Well I don't know if Blizzard changed some of this stuff but theres a lot of faulty information in some of these people's posts.

First off the grave you're looking for is at (28,59). It is located in the basement of the Crypt located behind the building you killed the prince in.

People mentioned he's in a chapel, a chapel is a place of worship. He's in a Crypt, a mosoleum, a grave.

A PRO TIP TO SAVE YOUR TIME AND SANITY:

You can do a HUGE skip by jumping between the right-side tree and the bridge. This way, you can jump straight on to the bridge, skipping all of the trashmobs in-between!

You must return to where you previously killed the Alliance fukboi, Trollbane, and go past the church he was hiding in, to the right where the crypt is located.

Couldn't master the trick jump between the bridge and tree as a Tauren, so had to stealth/kill my way through. 4300 xp at the very end of a long quest line, not sure if it was worth it.
