There is a current 'known issue' with some characters not being able to pick up this quest after turning in the Elixirs. The only current workaround is to check after each maintenance. It's supposed to have a work around/fix implemented soon.

Agnar Beastamer is located at 14.1, 43.6 in the basement of Alliance INN at Aerie Peak in the Hinterlands.

Enter the INN and make a right or a left. Follow the hallway straight to the back without turning and go down the stairs then down the next set of stairs in the big room. You will see Agnar Beastamer on the bottom level.

By Teleporting (or Hearthstone) to IronForge then using the Gryphon to fly to The Hinterlands, I made it to Agnar Beastamer with in 8 minutes. (52 minutes left on timer)

If you have the flight path from Gadgetzan to Theramore, and the one from Menethil to Aerie Peak, it should take you about 15 minutes to travel directly.

Since you're in the Hinterlands now anyway, it's easy to combine this quest with the super snapper quest (https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/quest=2944) which requires you to be on the east coast of the Hinterlands.

Agnar Beastamer is located at 14.1, 43.6 in the basement of Alliance INN at Aerie Peak in the Hinterlands.

This is absolutely correct! With a little bit of getting lost along the way to The Hinterlands, it still only took me 25 minutes to reach here. The beasts in this region are between levels 44-48 for the ones I've seen, so if you're under level 44 take caution. I'm currently a level 49 dwarf warrior and there's many quests to do in this region for me now.

You need to complete the "Freedom for all creatures" series first, then return to those NPCs. The downside is that the last part of this series takes you to Darnassus to see Tyrande and she doesn't really indicate that you can now go back there and get a new set of quests :(

I have completed all of the quests in feathermoon, including a few that start in other places and end in Feathermoon. Ive finished all the quests in ferealas that I found on the side, (homing robot, escorting the absent-minded girl with her bell), and I have also completed all 3 steps of Freedom for all creatures, which finally ends in Darnassus.

Now I am STILL not able to speak with Quentin in 1000 Needles, is this broken/removed? Or is there something I'm missing?

after turning in the q to the priestess in darnas, u need to go back to feralas and get another quest from moonwear agin. then she will have u go to thousand needles to see the guy there. on and on .. ok''':)

Agnar Beastamer is inside the Wildhammer Keep, downstairs. (14,43) And Quentin is in Thousand Needles at (78,74)

Did all the prereqs (including the elixers) but Quentin wont talk to me again, can't get the "Newest member" part, so it's either changed or bugged.

In case you fail as I did due to disconnection.... The time will run out while you are offline.
Simply abandon the quest and go back to the shimmering flats. The quest will be available again to you and the timer starts over.
You do not need more potions.
You do not lose your egg when you abandon the quest

Also, the fastest way to get there is:
1. Ride Back to Gadget
2. Fly to Theramore
3. Take the boat to Menethil,
4. Fly to Aerie Peak

The Dwarf you need to speak to is in the lowest part of the Aerie peak keep. Go through the door where the mailbox is. that is the correct building.

I don't think you can be lvl 40 to do this quest.

My noob moment with this quest:
I hit lvl 40, got my mount etc etc. remember reading about this quest when I was like.. lvl 15, So I ran to... uhm to shimmering flats to find Quetin.... only to find that when I got there he had no "!" Over his head, or even a silver "!" i was sad, came here and well it says you have to be lvl 47.... so.. I'm working on lvl 47, lol.

Okay the easiest way possible to do this------

1. Make ur home inn in Aerie Peak
2. Hearth and talk
3. Use the 55+min saved to tame the White Croc In
SW

worked for me at least :0

p.s. this insnt the start quest its just another chain in the feralas chain of quests.

At level 49 I got 4200 XP for this. My reputation with Darnassus also increased, as did my reputation with Wildhammer Clan.

i logged out during during the Q, then wen i came back on i had no time to worry about and it didn't say failed, result !

edit: but u cant speak to the guy at the end of the quest so i guess it doesn't work...bak to shimmering flats

There is one last thing I would suggest doing if you plan on following through with this--head to Aerie Peak in the Hinterlands. Speak to a dwarf there named Agnar Beastamer, he's a master animal handler and should be able to guide you in the final steps of incubation.

But hurry, <name>, this egg is fragile and will not last long without proper care.
