This is just a breadcrumb quest available at Allerian Stronghold to get you to go into Mana Tombs.

There is a pre-quest leading players to , the Alliance version is and obtained from Eckert talking about "treasure and ancient knowledge" in the Alliance's Allerian Stronghold. The Horde version is and can be acquired from Grek (he is busy trying to get someone to read him the Wanted Poster board near the mailbox) in the Horde's Stonebreaker Hold. The mission is to speak to the "shiny mummy" in Mana-Tombs.

and are two new quests added in patch 4.3 to the Terokkar Forest area, and can be acquired from and returned to inside of the Mana-Tombs dungeon instance, which is a representative for The Consortium. He is located in the northern-most instance portal, inside of the Mana-Tombs itself. It is highly suggested to pick up from right next to before clearing this dungeon.

In , players must happily kill 10 Ethereal Crypt Raiders, 5 Ethereal Sorcerers, 5 Nexus Stalkers, and 5 Ethereal Spellbinders (links to each inside of the quest link) in Mana-Tombs. All of these are mobs that are usually packed in mixed groups of 2-5 together, so if players are near the level for this zone, they should be careful of mixing pulls from other close groups as they may end up pulling 10-15 mobs in a single room at once. Some of the mobs are only located in the room just before Nexus-Prince Shaffar.

For players must acquire Shaffar's Wrappings by killing anti-Consortium leader Nexus-Prince Shaffar in Mana-Tombs.

Players DO NOT need to be in Heroic mode in order to complete this quest.

(At level 85 with both guild perks, I received zero (0) guild rep, which may be a bug in the quest or new NPC coding. With both guild perks Mr. Popularity, players will receive 275 reputation with The Consortium, and 1 guild rep or 2 with Renowned Guild Tabard) for each of the next two quests.)

*Special note for patch 4.3 is that most Auchindoun/Ring of Observance quest NPCs have been moved from the four instance lobbies to actually inside of their respective instances.

ADDENDUM: As of this time few of the tooltips, quests, or Quick Facts have been updated linking items/NPCs/quests together. These are single quests and as yet do not have any associated chains or quests thereafter. Will continue to scan for changes and update as needed.
