You will get less aggro if you stay inside the inn, preferably halfway up the stairs.

Done this quest after dieing several times.
Just get ur fly mount get the quest and fly over the zeppelin tower.
you will get some spawns but easy to kill and you will have time to regain your HP.

Very frustrating quest :|

Can't use Victory Rush and they randomly spawn out of nowhere and take you off of your mount.

After dying repeatedly on my little priest, I managed to get the quest without drawing agro, flew over to the zeppelin tower (didn't land) and hovered on flying mount just inside the fence.
No agro, just waiting.

But you need to get the quest without getting hit on, because they will knock you off your mount.

If you can get the quest without getting aggro you should be able to fly high enough to avoid shooting range.

This is definitely a bad quest design. I tried sitting half way up the inn and using FD. I was able to wait out the timer but during that time 5 mobs spawned right on me and sat, so when it was time to turn in the quest I had virtually no way to escape except to get up, deterrence, rapid fire, then I can deterrence or FD again, but being in mind they keep coming after you.

Seems that Feign Death no longer works. I tried but the mobs just kept attacking me :(

This quest glitched out for me....I died at just 1 second before completion and now any time I get within 10 feet of the camp I get swarmed with around 10 mobs and have no choice but to run away. I cannot even accept the quest. This is on a frost mage, and even using ice block and invis I cannot drop aggro. Basically I won't be able to get any further at this point without help, which totally sucks. The design of this quest makes it almost impossible to solo if noone else is there.

at this point it has cost me more in armor repairs than the quest rewards, any strongly compelling reason to finish this quest?

I'm hunter who hung around the quest giver the first couple of tries and eventually died both times.

So flew up and looked around for clusters of guards to help me in a third try.

There are two horde sentinels just outside the zepellin door. I hightailed it over there. Ran a little beyond them and set up in the corner. The guards caught most of the aggro, and it was easy that time around. My health never fell below 100k,

I had the same problem each time I would die on the spot, however I found a roof that you can accept the res. Got that, flew away, then at a distance watched for when there was only 1 creature near the quest giver accepted it and few right up, waited 3 minutes went back down cashed in the quest, then ran to my death but the quest was done. Level 85 Horde Lock.

What a pain this quest was! After waiting for the quest giver to be relatively alone, flew in grabbed the quest, and still got knocked off my mount! So made a dash for outside and followed the outside edge of the fence, and just kept running until the timer ran out. Worked a treat!

You probably aren't reading this if you haven't been dying over and over again trying to complete this quest, so do what you need to do to grab your body, get out of town and get on your flying mount.

Fly fairly far above the town and over the quest giver. When there's a lull, and you may have to wait a few minutes for things to die down, fly straight down, grab the quest and fly back up as fast as possible. You can wait out the timer way high up in the sky. I could barely make out the mobs and had no problem getting hit.

This quest must be bugged! I was flying well over head of the base and a mob spawned in the air underneath me. The mob fell down, but started climbing upwards against me.

I ended up cirkling around the whole base until the quest finished itself.

Seems like the mobs spawn close to you if you stand still for more than a couple of seconds.

Okay so I completed this, and all the quests with Bwemba or whatever.... and the grom'gol fighting won't stop. I want to do the quest chain for the Lashtail Hatchling but the fighting is still going on after I've completed these quests. Any ideas?

if those trolls still are fighting at grom'gol, try logging out, and in again

I just did this quest solo on an 85 Fire Mage. After dying a couple of times, I decided to check out the posts. Following some of the other suggestions, I watched the quest giver, waited until he had no NPCs attacking him. Dropped down on my mount, accepted the quest, flew straight up about mid-tree level. Never drew one drop of aggro. Hovered for 3 min, quest completed. :) Picked up the next quest in the chain and off I went. Hope this helps.

Feign death worked for me. I fought the mobs for a bit and then when my pet died (after about a minute) I feigned death until the time was up. Didn't try it at the very start of the battle but it certainly works when you have 2 minutes or so to go.

This quest is easy.

Just get the quest, fly up in the air so the mobs can't reach you, and wait for the progress bar to fill up.

You don't need to kill a single mob.

Just fly up and go have a smoke or something.

Get on your mount....start quest....fly straight up and browse the internet for 3 minutes, done.

I've done this on my mage and my paladin. I had no problem as a prot pally, but died once on my mage. I consecutively popped Mirror Image, then Ice Block, then Invisibility and let them go the entire length of the time before I popped the next one. By the time they're done I just ran out of the way until the 3 mins were up.

i like to think of myself as a ok healer; but in this quest i notied my mana is what was killing me. the most i would got through the first 1.5min fine but after that i would lose my mana like crazy. it cost me over 20k mana for 1 flashheal and almost 10k for prayer of mending. :( but i made it through the 3min die only 5 times and i fought my way through it didnt run to avoid arggo or anything. wish i did tho repair bill would have been cheaper lol.

Wow. Wish I had read this before dying several times. Top of the tower works like a charm. Single spawns spaced out enough to heal between fights.

The Ogrimmar blimp still comes, but the Undercity one doesn't. Is it only while this quest event is going or is that blimp gone now?

I kept getting killed over and over until all of my armor had gone red. I tried flying above and kept getting shot down. When I flew too far away I failed the quest. I ended up taking someone's suggestion to keep running around the city. I ended up accepting the quest, getting on my flying mount, flying up and outside the borders of the city, and then running (not flying) around and around the city until time was up. Good luck!

I think I was able to sit and eat for 5 seconds between mobs spawning on my head. Thank god the guild pays for repairs. It was just stupid. The only way to get this done is to cheat or be geared for raids. Insanely bad. Also you have to finish the quest chain if you want the area zoned in again.
