This quest takes 10 days to do if every daily is done of every day. You get 25 marks the first day. 14 more for every next day. 150-25=125
125/14=8.9 or 9 days. 9 days+ the day that you get 25=10 days to complete this quest.

After completing this quest, you should have 17 Marks of the World tree. With the combined dailies of the Shadow Wardens and the ones before, you get 25 a day.

Shadow warden unlocks , offers an exdra daily = 1mark/day
Talon druid also unlocks , offers an exdra daily = 1mark/day
( While you complete both wardens and druids, you will get 2 extra dailys. )

There are also some achievements here.

From my experience, the Druid's daily is much more trouble and harder than Wardens.
BTW, if you fall from the floated rock between the furnace and fireplume peak, the druids will pick you back.

Though I just started their quests, I can already say they are awesome for hunters, for the fact alone that if you fall near the Fireplume Peak (where most the new taming rares are) they will pick you up, and place you back on the floating island.

The Wowhead guide indicates that after you unlock both the Druids of the Talon for 150 marks and the Shadow Wardens for another 150 marks you will access:

Varlan Highbough who sells epic gear.
Ayla Shadowstorm (who sells patterns for 36-slot profession bags, as well as some gear), and an infinite supply of food in the Molten Front.
Damek Bloombeard who sells some epic gear and a lot of Blacksmithing and Engineering plans.

Completed both I Custodi dell'Ombra (two chars) and I Druidi dell'Artiglio (one char) and I have the exact same amount of marks after two days of unlocking - 46 marks on all three chars. All dailies combined now give 25 marks per day.

I found the Shadow Warden Q's faster/easier(relatively speaking) to do, but not that big of a difference. If you're really serious about the dailies, check in here and there in both Hyjal and inside the portal to check if they have somehow reset before they're supposed to reset(usually happens between midnight and the 4am reset). I've reeled in a couple of extra marks that way since the patch came.

I had started with the Shadow Warden's first and thought by turning in the second set of 150 marks I would be able to do the druid quests as well. Unfortunately, I have been given no follow up after I handed it in at the shrine. I have also checked at the other quest hubs and the only thing changed is when I go to the Molten Front everything is much greener and I can now see the Druids of the Talon NPC's which offer no quests either.

DO NOT under any circumstances choose Druids of the Talon.

Their dailies are the most frustrating quests I have ever seen in over 5 years of playing this game.

If you are not a fan of hand-eye coordination (which you should not need in an MMO), do not pick them.

Jumping on ledges to get to the dailys... timing your clicks so you grab hatchlings out of the air... escorting an NPC up a hill that is on fire, hoping that you don't accidentally step in any (-40% of your health!) while fending off the 2-3 mobs that are constantly spawning...

Yeah. I'm not playing my paladin in Hyjal any more because I chose this faction with her.

Choose Shadow Wardens and avoid the frustration that I experienced. Shadow Warden dailys are straight forward and easy. Doing them on my priest is actually fun.

Now go ahead and down-rate me. I bet 90% of people that play WoW aren't looking for the 'challenge' that Druids of the Talon presents. I hope my rant helped someone.

For those who unlocked the 2nd quest line and couldn't figure out why can't pick up new dailies:

You only get to do one set of dailies each day even after you unlock Druids of the Talon quest line. And it doesn't matter which quest line you chose first. It means tomorrow you can do either Shadows or Druids =P

Well, Blizzard does have a good way to slow everyone down lol

don't understand. I opened up the shadow wardens first... Do i need to open the druid of the talon before being allowed to continue to the moonwell?

I've just about gotten 150 marks on the Druids of the Talon Daily quests so I figured I'd share a couple things in case it's helpful.

First, the entry quest Into the Fire (2 marks) is a bit buggy. As a couple other people mentioned, you can just run up the left hand side of the path covered in fire and dodge most of the fire and then kill the boss at the end and get access to the cavern below. I've actually found it easier to do that than to try and pat along with the escort and kill the Flamewalkers that come from the sides during the escort while trying to dodge the flames.

Once you get into the cavern below, turn in the Into the Fire quest and pick up:

Flamewakers of the Molten Flow (2 marks)
Fire Flowers (2 marks)

Make sure you make your way to the back of the cavern when you do these quests so you can pick up the one-time quest Need... Water... Badly... (5 marks one time) which opens up two additional daily quests (they open the following day, and you only get one per day):

How Hot (1 mark)
Hounds of Shannox (1 mark)

If you have a hard time finding Anren Shadowseeker in the cavern, keep following pathways down until you can't go any lower, Anren is in the far back of the cave. Incidentally, if you haven't learned to use the updrafts yet, Anren will teach you how while you escort him out.

After you exit the cavern, head further up the path away from the starting zone, you'll find some more dailies here. There are two to three per day depending on if you've unlocked the extra dailies from escorting Anren out.

1 of 2 Singed Wings or Territorial Birds (2 marks)

1 of 4 Peaked Interest or Starting Young or Mother's Malice or Fire in the Skies (2 marks)

Many of these dailies have achieves related to them, so if you're interested in that, make sure to take a look at Veteran of the Molten Front These include:

Master of the Molten Flow
Death from Above

(as well as others that are partially done here like Fireside Chat for instance)

One other thing to note, once you have opened both the Druids of the Talon AND Shadow Wardens spending 150 marks to open each, you will be able to complete Calling the Ancients which will let you do another daily Strike at the Heart (3 marks).

the quest "into the fire" can be extreamly frustrating if u die in the fire cause u also rez in the fire..endless cycle of deaths.. i talked with a GM and they are working on a fix for that prob.(in the mean time make sure to avoid starting the quest at the same time as another.either group up or wait till he is away to avoid being killed by fire while attacking mobs and dont stop to loot..) As far as having ot jump rocks to access quests.. dont worry..if u fall off a rock a bird will pick u up and carry u to the other side...u do not die..also there are many places where u see a blue wave u can use to go from area to area.. they have fixed most of the problems now and the questline is one of the best ive seen in yrs!..Loads of fun

If you are a hunter and considering taming all of the rares in Molten Front, choose Druids of the Talon first!

A number of the tamable rares spawn on Fireplume Peak and The Furnace (Kirix, Skitterflame, Skarr, and Karkin). During stakeouts and tames, you can count on getting knocked off these platforms by players of the opposing faction or just slipping and falling off on accident (especially if you're in a rush to make a tame). If you log out on the floating rocks and come back in, sometimes your toon will fall through the rock and into oblivion (has happened to me a bunch... I guess I'm forgetful). If you're on the Druid quests and you fall, a druid in birdform will swoop down and carry you to safety. If you're on the Shadow Wardens quests (like my hunter is), they do NOT come to rescue you. You WILL fall to your death. I've ended up falling a number of times (by my own hands or at the hands of others) and seriously regret choosing the Wardens first.

Also, Druid quests allow you to clear out that path of fire leading up to The Furnace for the day -- so if you need to run up or down that area fast (like if you're having a wipefest on Kirix and need to flee to safety) that is another perk as well.

Some people say that the Druid quests are more difficult than the ones for the Wardens. It all comes down to being aware and playing smart (ie. keep your eyes peeled for shortcuts to make quest completion faster... they do exist!).

I would have to strongly agree that the Druids of the Talon quest lines are MUCH more difficult, more frustrating and more deadly than the Shadow Wardens quest lines. It's not even close, really. I made a mistake on one of my toons to start with the Druids, and now I have to keep grinding those painful quests until I get another 150 marks. If someone likes a greater challenge, more frustrating geography, more ways to easily die and such, by all means, have fun with the Druids of the Talon line. Me, from here on out I'm sticking with the Shadow Wardens.

If you chose to do the Shadow Warden's quest line first and are back up to 150 Marks and are area ready for the Druids of the Talon quest, fly to the Inn at the Shrine of Aviana. The leader of the Druids of the Talon will be there waiting for you to turn in your 150 Marks and begin the new quest line.
