Unlocks The Denmother.

Start of this quest chain is actually Wanted: The Demon Hunter.
It doesn't get linked together very well here because the questgiver despawns and respawns in between each quest.

Pygmy Oil did NOT work for me. Somehow my friend got inside and used feral charge to get inside and out. GL trying to do this quest

I found some baby spice in my bank and it worked. Bad news are that non-alt characters will have hard time looking for it. It's easier to forget about quest and go leveling somewhere else.

Noggenfogger Elixir is for sale in Gadgetzan and it got me through the door. It was a journey but as a druid I could hearth back to moonglade. It was worth it to me. The prizes are pretty good.

Xaravan is enslavable, and will not respawn until whoever Enslaved him dismisses him or he is killed.

Tips on enslaving:

To keep him permanently, you will not be able to turn in the quest. If you want to turn in the quest and enslave him, simply kill him the first time and then Enslave him on respawn - only then can you turn in the quest (he'll then become unenslavable).

Xaravan is a large Satyr creature, level 48, with 3 main abilities:
- Sinister Strike (Instant, melee): 110% weapon damage. Requires a weapon
- Curse of Agony (Instant, 30yd range): Shadow damage over 15 seconds. Costs 226 mana
- Claw Swipe (instant, melee): Does melee damage and knocks nearby enemies away.

Oddly enough, he can't use the first two abilities (he has no weapons and no mana). He spams Claw Swipe, which has a roughly 6 second cooldown. His melees hit for around 70 damage each.

TL;DR - NOT worth enslaving, Kroshius from a previous quest chain is a much better (and cooler) pet who actually does a decent amount of damage.

If you are having trouble walking through the tower door into the room where Navarax is, try logging out then log back in. Fixed it for me.

If you walk straight in through the doorway, Naravax will knock you back through it and off the tree when he turns hostile. The fall itself won't kill you, but it will cause him to despawn.

Umm, as a warning to others doing this quest... do NOT stand by the door when he turns aggro, he'll knock you right through it (and in my case, out of the tree entirely.) Had to run all the way back up and wait for him to respawn (he despawns if you don't kill him right away.) Arrgh.

This quest opens the possibility for Demon Hunters becoming available as a class. There will most likely be a Burning Legion expansion, and cases like this one could become more frequent then, and the Demon Hunters would be required to see through the disguises.

While at that, it doesn't mean Demon Hunters will ever become a playable class, it just opens the possibility for it, should Blizzard want to grab it.

These quest rewards are oddly itemized. None of them are Armor Class dependent, so you'd think there would be one Int item, one Agility item, and one Str item.

You'd be wrong.

Two of these three are Stamina, Intellect, Haste. Swing and a miss.

[I have been preying on these demonic impostors for some time now, and I have finally gleaned the location of their leader. It is none other than Arch Druid Navarax, the leader of the Emerald Circle.

The demon shields himself with innocents. If I entered Whisperwind Grove to hunt him, I would be set upon by ignorant protectors... but you! You can catch him unaware.

Return to Whisperwind Grove. Climb the druid tower and you'll find Navarax at the top, in his room amidst the boughs.]
