Just move one of the side pieces - North, East, South or West, doesn't matter - into the middle.

Then keep rotating all the other pieces around in a "circle" - clockwise or counter-clockwise, doesn't matter - until they're in position. You're basically just rotating the lot of them halfway around the "circle".

Once they're rotated into position you can then move the first piece back out of the centre and it'll slot into its position & complete the puzzle.

I had messed up severely when I first tried this quest and ended up having to abandon it. Upon abandoning, I was unable to restart it. I waited a few moments, ran out and back into the room and the slab wouldn't interact.
I ran all the way out back to the camp where you get the quest and then back in (hoping I could get some sort of statue to lie down again, although I did not receive one) and upon going back into the room I was able to restart the quest.

I don't think it's a glitch, I think it's supposed to be a combination of memory and slide... you must remember where each golum was facing initially and move them accordingly. You will get the quest finished if you do.

Easiest way to do this one (from my own attempt):

Each statue is exactly opposite where it should be.

Click one statue to move it to the center. Click the opposite statue to move it into the empty spot on the edge. Click the center statue to move it into it's proper location.

There are 4 pairs, you can simply swap them all like this. It's VERY simple.

This quest is not the game. First turn this in to get, The Warden's Game.

Goal: move them until they all face the center and end with none in the center.

I found this a little challenging, until I accidently clicked one that couldn't move into an adjacent square, and found out they could move diagonally. It was quite easy to solve after that, and with my second character (RAF) I managed to go through it in a minute or two.

I'd like more quests like this, an option to make it easier by looking it up, or solving it yourself.
