The Twilight Invaders and the Desecrated Earthbringer needed from the quest all spawn from portals on either side of the main chamber, in the back hallways.

Might be a dumb question here, but I can't remember if I did this quest or not. Been trying to get my Therazane Dailies opened up. the Portals are all missing and the mobs are still in the back wings but I don't have the Quest and Maruut doesn't offer it to me. :( I have no dailies opened, but I have the deep into deepholm achievement. I can't figure it out! Been running around like an idiot the last few days any help would be greatly appreciated, or am I being a newb and missing something here? :)

You have to enter either of the two faction chambers in the Temple of Earth to trigger this quest. I leave this comment to those of you that were as confused as I was.

this quest made me realize(the hard way) that npcs cant hold aggro that well...

The spawns in this quest are currently a little buggy; they'll spawn by the portal but don't move from where they spawn.

I couldn't figure out how to get the to come out and attack. Finally sent my pet in, at which point it was attacked by him and about six of the Twilight Invaders who were standing by him. I pulled my pet back, at which point it died, but the mobs all came with it. Then I used to drop aggro, and the mobs targeted the friendly NPC's nearby. At that point it was easy to help pick them off (I had time to Revive Pet and throw a Heal Pet on it first).

I don't normally care for posts that talk about strategy like this, but as others have said, if you just "rush in" and attack, you're going to die (which happened to my pet and I the first time). So hopefully this will help-- you have to pull the Desecrated Earthrager out and hope the NPC's get aggro before you die from the pack of mobs.
