Found him in the barn @ 21,73 - be careful with how much damage you to do him. You might wind up with a corpse instead of a weakened NPC.

Edit:
As a level 80, I unequipped my weapon and hit him once.
This caused him to stare and hesitate!
At that point, I used the quest item on him and got credit.

If you accidentally kill him as a higher level, simply run out and run back in until he ambushes you again.

Note that once you use the quest item on his weakened form, you will not receive any item for indication that you have "captured" him other than the quest saying you have. Would have been much better if you had to draw him physically back. Just a heads up in case you weren't sure if you did this: he simply despawns at the end.

The title of this quest is a reference to TV on the Radio's "Wolf Like Me," which is, fittingly, about werewolves... well, in the most literal interpretation, at least.

i have tried this quest at least 6 time and every time it tells me that he is an invalid target. Anyone have any suggestions?

If you are 85, take off all your gear and just punch him until he is weakened. At about 20% life, he will kneel and you can use the potion.

I just completed this quest. I also found him in the barn. He was up on shelf or upper story. if you deselect him and then run at jump at him he'll jump down and attack you. At least he did for me.

You may find yourself stripping down to your tabard in a barn to wrestle a Worgen and giving him drugs as an Alliance level 85 player. Wear your Gilneas tabard and save some of your hard earned reputation.

Found him in the Barn @ 21,73 on top of the entry way. He jumps onto you after you go towards the back.

Step 1. Take off all of your gear.
Step 2. Start punching him in the face.
Step 3. Capture him when he drops low enough.
Step 4. Stop assuming quests are impossible to do just because you're bad!

Found this difficult as a level 85 hunter. I finally took off everything, including shirt, tabard, and weapons and was able to hit him a couple of times without killing him, thus giving him time to "hesitate." I also put my pet on passive.

As an 85 hunter, I switched to my fishing rod, one hit and then waited for him to damage himself into hesitation. Still took two tries though, lol.

I should have read the previous posts before doing this quest, after 6 tries and finally remembering to put my pet on passiveI I was down to my tabard and boots, and I never thought to use my fishing pole.If you do hit him too hard just hang about he respawns failry fast.

I did this with my Level 60 Rogue-Combatant. I just took the sword and axe and rifle away. Went into the barn , he jumped me from behind. fought him fists to fists until he was 20% down in health, then yellow letters popped out saying, " He hesitated". I hit the juice on my hot bar got a complete. Stealth out, turned in quest. Level up!

As a level 85 rogue, I tried to unequip weapons and buffs, thus using bare hands to kill him. Struck him with a little over half of his HP every time (no crits), which meant that I had to run out and back in again. Good thing he spawns instantly.

Then tried equipping Ninja Star (don't ask why I still carry it in my bags) to lower the damage and then used Fan of Knives. At first I took him out with two casts. Second time he ended up at 7 HP and was ready for capture.

All in all 8 bodies of the poor worgen was left on the floor when I was done.

If you're a high level palladin, no need to get naked.

Don't hit him but use your "Retribution Aura", then, everytime he'll strike you, he will be strike back by holy damage

Level 85 hunter
I found it really difficult as i just ended up killing it all of the time, even after buying a low level weapon.

Instead...use EXPLOSIVE trap, it slowly burnt him and i kept clicking the tranquiliser until it got him

Not true Kahlua. It's as simple as stripping your character down to bare skin and beating the worgen with your fists. :)

If he's fled the Yorgen Stead, search the Addle Stead to the south; he may be lurking in one of the buildings.

Inject him with this ampule to tranquilize him. You'll need to be quite close.]
