If you, by any chance, abandon this quest, try logging out and then back in to take it again. Worked for me.

This quest seems to be completely bugged, which is a shame as quite enjoyed this chain upto this point, can accept the quest but on going to the boat, they never show and even tried abandoning, relogging as previous poster says but no joy for me

I was having a hard time figuring out how to do this quest, but mostly because I play on a pvp server and kept getting ganked by a shaman at the time. :P

The boat that you are suppose to take is on the left side of the bridge close to where you would do the quest to kill the murlocs. Just head outside of the Inn and keep walking to your left past the boulder that the villagers are trying to move. You'll be able to spot the boat that they all are in in no time. :) Hope this was helpful.

I like how Messner the mage blasts flame to drive the boat fast like a skiff.

if you go on the boat as a gnome you will get the ''breath meter''
