In the PTR(4.0.3a) so far all Garley does when you go to complete the quest is tell you to take some time and check out Booty Bay while she looks it over. I completed every quest including the 'finale' yet she still will not offer any more quests.
Seeing as this chain starts from a mob drop, I don't know how important it's meant to be... but I was hoping for something... perhaps leading back to ZG?

Yep, I'll go ahead and confirm Rainemard's comment is still in effect. Stood there right-clicking for a couple of seconds and ... nothing. This is grimly similar to another unfinished questline introduced in Cataclysm, A Hello to Arms; or, if they're actually finished, they're certainly anticlimactic.

If you have a problem to find her like I did:
- enter the house at 42.2 73.54 (on level closest to the sea)
- take the stairs up
- she is a on the 1st floor of the house

Maybe That book isn't the ending? The Far Seer in Grom'gol says something about his contacts to the east, but he does not provide a quest to go there. The same thing about the goblin in Bambala, that just talks about Flem to the south. And now, Garley tells you to have a look around in Booty Bay, and if you do have a look around, you might find the book, , Garley's Journal, that Varghedin Mentioned. And in that book, Garley writes that she has "sent the sample to Silvermoon." It really seems like the quest chain could continue, or end, there. But I just haven't been able to find the book, even though I have been looking. In water below Booty bay, and on all the floors of the house that is positioned on the coordinates provided here on Wowhead. If anyone knows where it is, and can describe it, or just make a screenshot, that would be pretty cool.

Somehow lost the quest item...not sure how. Anyways, I abandoned the quest and just picked it back up with the item again :)

"Garley's Journal" does not spawn until you have completed this quest. Because of this, I believe that the journal is the ultimate end point of this quest chain. I have not gone back to Silvermoon City to check, yet, but I plan too.

Also, Flem Gizzix will offer the "Holy Water of Clarity" quest without having to do any quests previously.

[I have no idea what this artifact is. I have no idea where I would even START finding out what it is.

In fact, I have no idea why anybody expected ME to be able to identify it in the first place.

I asked for water because I was thirsty. I asked for the jewelry and furs for... well, they're for my girlfriend.

Hopefully I can at least point you in the right direction. Garley Lightrider in Booty Bay is a member of the Reliquary, and might be of more use than me.
