You should have a Westfall Stew item in your inventory. Use it near the crowds of people gathered at the gates of Sentinel Hill around 56.8, 57.5 and 58.2, 40.7 (here's a map)

You can hit both entrances or just wait at one until the buff (indicated by a glowing chunk of meat above everyone's head) wear off and repeat until you have all 20.

It is pretty self-explainable but if you did not see them, the people you feed are surrounding the wall. A few are standing, some are sitting, and some are sleeping, (lazy buggers!) but there are plenty along the outside of the wall.

I explained some lag on this, I would feed them and nothing happened, then they would finally come to me or I would get checked off after I walked away. So if you do not get immediate results, relax.

The homeless are on the OUTSIDE of the wall only. I was confused by the large blue quest area on the map, since it was covering the inside of the walls as well. Don't waste your time like I did.

Also if they have meat over their head that means they have eaten and cant not eat from the stew. Until it goes then they will eat from the stew.

Learned this the hard way. I thought it meant they need to eat :P

I tried to feed the homeless citizens in Moonbrook, cause I couldn't find the homeless citizens in Sentinnel hill. Don't go to Moonbrook. I could only find 16 of them, so I went back and refed the 16. Maybe they were hungry, who knows? It worked to feed them a second time, they had already reset.

Why aren't they allowed inside the walls in the first place? I thought Gryan Stoutmantle was a Paladin, protector of the helpless and such.

So going to get downrated for this, but...

... Keeping with Blizzard's "insanity is the norm" sense of humor, back during the beta I actually suggested they consider renaming this quest "Hungry Hungry Hobos". :P Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they kept the name though as it just adds to the atmosphere nicely.

This whole quest chain just really hits home how messed up things are post-Cataclysm, even moreso if you get to see the little mini-event that sometimes happens with the guards and the two transients trying to get in :)

if you dont finish this quest you can keep the stew and summon it anywhere, pretty fun item :D

Use the stew near the middle of groups of homeless, and the quest will go by much quicker, because nearby homeless will run to get the chow you're passing out!

I just noticed that while she's considered part of the Stormwind faction, you get no reputation gain from neither of the two quests you receive from her. Also, the words used in the completion text "judgment day" also hint that there's something off about her.

Until, of course, later you discover the truth behind all this suspiciousness...

[Yes, I heard about the Furlbrow murders. It is very tragic, but such tragedy is a way of life in Westfall. There are many people here who simply no longer have the means or inclination to keep themselves fed. They have given up hope. Do you understand what it means to be left so hopeless as to stop caring about life? We must work together to show them that there is hope. That with the dawning day a better life comes.
