The First Clue is inside the wrecked ship. Dont go looking at the open field.

Note that the ship is in 2 halves, the first clue is in the back half of the ship(the part that has the horde symbol shape)! I only saw the front half and ran all over it looking for a chamber :)

The 2nd clue is on a body between both halfs of the ship, kind of off to the side.

There is a ramp to go up to the cabin from outside. The location of the ramp is around 54,73

Guys, don't forget. When he says "The capitain log lie nearby", it really means it. And the log give you a quest. Don't forget to pick this one up

I'll try and explain for those who don't have coords. If you fly to the broken ship, you'll most likely land near the "southern" part, as at the base of that part is where the first part of the clues is and easiest to spot, "unexploded Artillery Shell" It will be "glowing" as the other parts are. From there, turn around to your left slowly. You will notice flames all around you, stop turning as you spot the other half of the ship. More or less in a similar spot, you should see the "glowing" item marked "Slain Cannoneer" which is the second clue. After getting that one, fly up to the top of the ship and get into the small room where you'll see the slain captain and a pick up quest, Captain's log. Pick them both up and your done! Hope this helps!

Wow, the comments about the 1st clue are full of it. It is NOT in the back half of the ship, as sweetscott says, it is in the FRONT half doh. The back half has the rocket exhausts at the tail end. The front is the smaller piece. The captains cabin does NOT have a ramp to it from the ground. The opening is easy to spot, just face that half of the ship from where it broke in 2, and see the big opening on the 2nd story; just fly right inside. Can't miss it. It's one room, clue is inside on the left. Wow, doh.
