I LOVED this quest! It was a real nostalgia piece, and then you get to the end of it, and you find out that it was just the ghost of Fitzsimmons that sent you!

A real, "WHO WAS PHONE?" moment!

Man, this was one huge nostalgia trip. I remember doing this quest 3 times over on 3 different toons. I felt terrible when Steelbrow told me what happened. This was greatly designed by Blizz, good job.

It looks as if the eye will remain there forever no matter how many times they try and get rid of it. that or you travel back in time and retrieve it again. Still kinda confused.

Pretty eerie end, but sad that it doesn't actually have a conclusion. There's more to the story to flesh out, and I'd rather not wait another 3 expansions to see it happen.

Just struck me as abrupt, especially since just before this, I had done Theramore on another toon, which teases some epic quest with Varian, and then ends randomly.

Definitely gave me chills. Because Fitzsimmons looked real when I was speaking to him and giving him ale (somehow?), I ran outside to find him, as if to say, no way, he's right here! And then he wasn't. Very creepy. Well done.
