As you exit the house, go left until you find a little broken cart. As you approach the cat, a Forsaken will appear and say something like "It's the perfect bait, and it works!" and begin to attack you. In the beta, Grandma Wahl comes and helps you kill him, not so sure if it's intended or a bug. Most likely intended.

Don't mess with granny's cat.

The Forsaken that spawns is called Lucius the Cruel, he doesn't do much apart from melee and shoot from range.

He sometimes bugs which causes him to reach 1% and then not die. I have had this issue on the beta a few times and seen a few complaints about the same bug in general chat.

This quest is causing an ENORMOUS bottleneck whilst trying to level in the worgen starting area.

I'm currently on Nagrand, and it's not even the most popular of servers, but there's a ridiculously long line to get this thing. This really could have benefitted from phasing, or different mechanics to summon Lucious along. Very frustrating!

Also, for those wondering what this guy has to do with the quest - once he's killed, you loot the cat from his body.

35.12, 74.90 - when you click on him, you summon Lucius the Cruel, lvl 7 to kill. No sweat. You then loot the cat off of him.

The odd thing about this quest is that Grandma Wahl is a Worgen, but implies in the end quest text that she doesn't want people to know or is unaware of it herself. Also, no Worgen was able to switch between their form and the human form at the time, so there's a small lore screw-up present in this quest.

As of two days ago, this quest is still bugged where no one was able to kill Lucias he stopped at 1% and the rest of that night no one could kill him. I guess its not a constant bug but sporadic.

If you go to the left out of the house and down the little hill, mouse over the rocks across the field, just slightly to the left, and U will see a little orange dot that is the kitty. When u try and pick kitty up, baddie pops out and Gramma comes to help you kill him. Piece of cake.

The simple fact that I had to Thottbot this quest speaks volumes about the relatively poor design. First, if your EXITING the house you go LEFT. Straight through the yard and just before you get to the next up sloping bank, stop, turn NORTH and you should see the cat on a rock. Why blizz did not 'glitter' this cat I'll never know. The coloring of this area makes finding the cart almost impossible until your standin on top of it, and picking out the tiny little cat on a rock is just poor design.

Interesting and odd trivia note about Grandma Wahl in this quest... her human form uses the normal Gilnean click-comments, but when she shifts into worgen form, she uses the vendor pool of lines instead... probably a bug no one has noticed, though.

Back when cata first came out, there was soooo many people doing this, that no one could get it done. So, I told them to get in line and wait there turn. This turned out very well:)
