Tangle the elementals first and then throw the tridents.

Other Naga in the area will help you fight them, they will count towards your five.

Beware of Hammerhead sharks, they are elite and will knock you out of your disguise. Very dangerous.

Arcane barrage worked as a Mage in Naga form, I suspect most abilities do. I didn't use the weapon given.

Also be careful of the drysnap pincers near the island. You cant attack them in Naga form and they pull you out of your disguise. They also followed me onto the shore.

edit - As a side note I found I was able to gather herbs whilst in the Naga disguise, not sure exactly how beneficial that is but still ;-)

Buggy, buggy, buggy. Trident doesn't work, staff doesn't work. Abandoned and good riddance.

Please Note: Llotus said, "then throw the tridents." In order for the tridents to work you need about 20 yards to throw... If you fight them point blank it doesn't work....Hope that helps...

If you cannot find the quest NPC (Valishj) it is most likely that she has been killed. On my server she got a very slow respawn. Had to wait 5-10 minutes.

Strangely enough, Thrown tridents proc poisons if you happen to be a rogue with a poisoned thrown weapon.

If you have any abilities bound not on the primary 1 to = bar that the vehicle bar overrides, they can still be cast while in naga form. Even if you can't kill the mob faster than trident spam (which is unlikely at 300dmg/gcd from that), I'd still recommend other things like Power Word: Shield or any dots.

Apparently Slitherblade Naga can't throw tridents to save their lives. x.x

I mean come on! How many times does that trident go end over end before it hits! lol

Note that the ability "Shatter Rubble" that you get on your naga action bar serves no purpose until the next quest.

Few things about this quest.

First off, the actual attack you use is pretty weak. Luckily, it and the web ability you are given can both be used while on the move.

Secondly, if for some reason, when you return to Valishj she is marked as hostile, simply re-use the quest item to transform into a naga.

If you are using a bar mod, make sure you have it correctly set to show the abilities (entangle, throw trident, heal..) that are provided while in naga form. I was a little confused at first. I was low level so my spells were missing alot. Once i fixed my mod and used the "throw trident" along with my spells, it was a piece of cake.

For those of you having trouble killing the servants, make sure you keep them entangled or they will kill you dead quick. I didn't realize that they were becoming untangled. Keep them tangled and keep hitting the trident and bam you got em.

Easy as a hunter: Just let your pet kill. They will still count.
