Yeah kinda a silly spawn time on this guy, in the time i have waited for him to respawn i could almost have made a human lock and got him to 4th level ;)

i didn't realize he could die and i abandoned. any ideas?

I've done this quest twice now (levelling my second worgen druid) and I remember being frustrated with this quest the first time around. What I realized this time is if I made one long distance shot (to get their attention,) all I had to do was put the cannon on the lowest setting and just keep shooting as they swarmed. It saved me a lot of time and trouble this go-round.

The respawn time of the NPC that hands out the quest is about 7 minutes.

So, I completed the quest, and no one there to turn it in. I waited. And waited. And waited. Some 20 or 30 minutes. Nothing. So I deleted the quest. And then... discovered it can't be picked up again. Looked everywhere for a quest-giver. Died many times looking. Finally spawned in the graveyard instead of running back to my body, and then discovered I'm stuck in a portion of the city that can't even get back to where the quest it.

I submit a ticket to Blizz. They tell me, "Sorry, we can't give hints... go to Wowhead." So I come here, only to discover how many other people are ticked off by what is CLEARLY a major fail on Blizz's programming, and no advice on the situation I'm stuck in other than to delete my alt and start over.

The day WoW has legitimate competition is the day their massive player base leaves them in droves so quickly that no one is left behind to turn off the lights.
