If you move to the high land above the excavation, you will come to a place where you will be facing the long snakelike structure coming down from the top of the thing they are working on. Move then to your right and you will see a ramp going up into the works; it appears to be made of metal plates and it twists up over open air. Follow that ramp up to a platform above; you will see several of the cultists grouped there. Pause to listen to their conversation and you will complete the quest. Beware of roaming Faceless Ones, they can detect stealth.

Ramp up starts at 41.85 also even 1 point of damage breaks your stealth.

This quest is one of those moments where I'm really glad I'm on a druid. If you're not (and not a rogue), be very careful of falling damage, as I'm pretty sure it knocked me out of the figurine-stealth when I tried it out.

Also, at present the turn-in message is typo'd: "Return to Balren fo the Claw at the Grove of the Ancients in Darkshore."

The dialog you are spying on is simple but further confirms that Soggoth is the old god the twilight cultists are trying to summon or revive.

Doomspeaker Trevellion says: Our men are almost finished unearthing great Soggoth. Is the ritual ready?
Thalya the Voidcaller says: Not quite. We shall need a great many offerings of sacrifice before the Herald of the Old Gods roams the land again.
Doomspeaker Trevellion says: Do not worry. Like I said, our men are almost done unearthing the Slithering One. They will make for a suitable -- and even voluntary -- sacrifice. Soggoth will rise!

Its faster if you kill them and wait till they respawn. When they do they immediatly talk.

I'm having trouble waiting to hear them say something what am I doing wrong? I have waited for 3 hours now. I tried killing them off and wait for them to re-spawn they speak but no change in my Quest log it still shows that 0/1 for the Quest. Is there something that I missed?

I have stood in space for a few hours and nothing happened. I killed them and waited for them to respawn. I have no clue how to continue it.

You don't need to be at the bottom of the ramp to rebuff the panther. I did it at the top at the ramp and they started to talk after I rebuffed.

Note: the Worgen racial Darkflight (movement speed increase) does not break the stealth provided by the panther figurine.

Actually to make sure I wouldnt be detected by the Faceless One wandering around, I waited for the guy to show up at the top of the small grass ramp to the right of the big snaky pipe. I killed him and then went into stealth and walked down the short ramp. Then go to the right and you will find a tile like ramp winding up to where Doomspeaker Trevellian and his group are and you will eventually hear their conversation and the quest will be complete. Note: the stealth mode turns off when you reach the road.

I had to jump down and do the previous quest too. (Newbies, be aware that you should search around for a better jump spot so u dont go and die!) But then I went back up the bonish ramp.

I walked up the screwy ramp in the panther suit and walked around the four or so NPCs and nothing happened. So I walked a couple yards away on teh ramp, unstealthed, restealthed, and walked back to the NPCs. This time, I got the "Do not worry.." dialogue which did not count.

So I walked back to the ramp, unstealthed, restealthed again and then walked back to the NPCs. This time the main girlie NPC spoke, then I got the "Do not worry..." dialogue and the quest was finished.
