Soloed as feral druid lvl 80, not that hard at all. The only thing the Skeletal Reaver is doing is hit normal damage. The only thing is tha mobs around, can be a bitt difficult to kite them. But they are stunnable.

The Skeletal Reavers do nothing but bonk you on the head for non-spectacular damage. They hit about 1500 on cloth, and can be slowed and snared. They have about 63000 HP. There's a couple of spots where you can pull a skeleton without having to worry about adds, which makes this quest solo material.

Currently sitting at 136/140 quests for Icecrown and cannot seem to get this quest yet. Do you need to complete one of the 5man group quests to unlock this or what? This zone is really a pain to complete.

for hunters, they hit around 1k on a gorilla with 16k ac (blood of rhino, pet barding), very easy to keep pet up (could take beating from 2 but not for extended time..)

What's with all this 5-Man Crap that Blizzard is putting in the Quest Objective? I'll admit it was a little "Challenging", but as a Level 80 Enhancement Shammy, I was able to kill these Bone Reavers without even calling out the Dogs or Earth Elemental. Just keep using Maelstrom Weapon to cast your largest Healing Wave and you'll take these down easily.

Bloodspattered Banners *is* a prequest, I've just completed it and this opened up. I don't get why people downrated Icysparks comment, because if I had read it, I'd be on this quest ages ago!

found a bug with this quest, i have died on the mobs a couple of times, and there health is not resetting back to full. In another words, if you have only 10k health left then just fly back, res yourself, eat/bandage up and go kill final 10% or whatever is left :P

i am a lvl80 rogue wearing heroic/ 10 man naxx gear and this is a tough quest as a rogue, if you can get a friend to help do it will save alot of time, or if not just abuse the bug with their health, only thing is may cost a bit in repairs.

These can be rooted by Druids, and most likely they aren't immune to other snaring effects.

Do not try this on any hunter almost impossible for 1 2 kite someone out of there and if a pat comes by ur pet get aggro then u do if u are using mend pet

As a protection paladin with heroic epics (27K hp 540def) you can actually solo pull all 6 skeletons in one fight. I just did exactly that and pulled a bonus DK by mistake. Didn't even bubble or lay on hands. Only issue is getting out again before they respawned.

solo this as lvl 80 DK dps specc. just takes long time bcf low on food. this is a easy quest, i dont have more than one epic, and the rest is most PVP gear. so very easy.

Can anyone confirm that this quest actually gives you rep with Ebon Blade? He is marked as being with Valiance Expedition in game and I know all of his daily quests give you rep with them and not the Ebon Blade.

Nice spot for soloing them: around 48, 61 - they stand in line, and you can pull them one by one; what's more, that's a safe place for that - no adds here.

What I find strange is that the one opportunity for mobs to legitimately despawn when you use a quest item on them without seeming out of place, and that's not what happens. The bodies stick around for much longer than you would think.

As a Afflic Lock I stood on a rock at 42.46, 66.1 and sent the VW to get a skele. Even full dots takes a few seconds to pull agro from VW and by then the skele is almost dead. Just watch the flying adds as the VW can agro them when they fly over as you are bringing the skele toward you. I died when this happened but it turned out as a bonus as the nearest skele respawned by the time i flew back to res :)

Easily soled by a spriest... T9 gear never went under 80% health and mana. You can easily pull one at a time. The only problem I had was being surprised by a pat Scourge DK... and it didn't help that I was afk.

The Reavers are laughably easy for a quest-geared bear tank. Semi-low hp, and with demo roar and bear form up, I was only getting hit for about 600-700, assuming that I didn't dodge it. Rootable, so if things get rough then you're just a Nature's Grasp click away from healing.

Now the dragons and other mobs in the area, on the other hand, can complicate things. Try to choose a reaver that is far away from enemies on both the ground and in the air. I found the best place to pull them is where they walk in a line out into the field. Right before they disappear, there was an area of land with mobs around it, but not in aggro range, so I moonfire pulled em before they despawned.

And just for the fun of it, I tried to take down two at once. It actually turned out to be easier, because I had plenty of health to spare and the rage two of them generates makes the fight much faster.

Pulling one by one, never more than that.

Stand exactly at 44.5, 56.2 on your map
Notice the Reavers are going in a straight line towards you, and that they disappear before aggroing. Think of this as a conveyor belt, where 3 Reavers come together, falling off the end, you want to pull the last remaining one before it also disappears like the rest.

This method will save your repair bill, as it is a deadspot, nothing aggros you here, just making it take a few seconds longer per Reaver.

(Must be able to withstand hits, that is all that is really needed.)

Solo'able as an 80 Frost Mage - pull with Ele, and by let it take a few hits, while Frostbolting, and by the time you're barrier is broken, they're either pretty close to dead, or your barrier's off cooldown already.

Easy to solo as combat rogue, ICC 10 normal/hard gear.

For chain pulling, or for the lesser geared, some vrykul bone fate runes is of help, I took on three in chain and ended with some -25% health.

Found the most straightforward to be the ones walking north from Corprethar gate (right before they despawn).

Was very easily able to solo this quest with my Rogue in T10. Picked them off one at a time, didn't even have to keep them stunned.

If you are like me and dont grp much for quests, go to 44.57 they walk to a point then vanish. 80 elite most of the time you can pull 1-2 at a time. plater wears can solo there clothies grab a healer...

done in 10 minutes with 80 warlock and healer

Descrizione

The Conflagration, the ground before Corp'rethar, south of the Ironwall Rampart, is where the Lich King's elite soldiers have formed up to defend the citadel.

Led by a contingent of death knights, a legion of skeletal reavers bars the way. I fear that even when these reavers fall, the Scourge will simply reconstitute them and send them back at us.

I've come up with a plan to stop this, but I have no way of knowing if it will work. Take this solution and use it to dissolve the remains of the reavers.
