Currently, with build 8885, doing the chain to help the guy out of his cage and flee to the lodge, causes the entire town to go hostile, thus, making it impossible to turn in this quest.

Warning as such, turn this in first before doing the chain that requires you to skin an orc, or help the NPC escape by horse from his cage.

The wolfsbane root has the same model as Briarthorn, and can be found all around the village outskirts.

The flowers are to your left side once you walk out from Silverbrook, so dont look around the Orcs for flowers, go across the road that leads of of Silverbrook and there you'll have them. Quite close to eachother

I couldn't help but notice that there was one villager that looked like a werewolf, plus Katja's reactions when you turn in the quest...
I wonder if this is why she said it was an urgent request.

Part 1 (Into Grizzly Hills, making friends)

Close the Deal (Simply go to Ivan)

I discovered that you can find alot of wolfsbane root on the east and southeast side of silverbrook, this is helpful since there's no hostile mobs around the place, I got annoyed of all the orcs that attacked me at the west side.

They are afraid of Wolfsbane because they are really worgen you understand that after the quest that you take from the caged soldier,and if you wonder what's in that Cedar Chest it's the Scythe of Elune when you return the quest the questgiver says something like "Oh you found the sc... i mean chest"

The easiest way to do this quest is to find one of the Wolfsbane Roots Crack it then wait a Sec it will be crackable again... repeat this 8 times... you're done

Another "hint" on why they ask you to destroy the Wolfsbane is when you turn this quest in, she <reels away from you nervously> and says something about having allergies to Wolfsbane!

SpinalDecay is right. Don't try to find many of them near the Marauders. There are a few up there, but Majority are around 26,38. If you dont have a co'rd plug in, they are just North of the stream South of Silverbrook.

Horrible weed is right... I've run around for 20 minutes killing the marauders and only found 1 root.

Found only 2 where others stated they could be found. Found the other 6 in a clearing almost due east of Silverbrook. Guess it depends on respawn rate and how recently someone else was in area on same quest. I was just going to start making a circuit through the area when I came upon the above-mentioned clearing.
