Just soloed this as a 71 Enhancement Shaman.
She hits for 1k-ish on Mail.
I've popped most of my cd's (Bloodlust, Earth Elemental so he could tank a bit, Ghost wolfs for extra damage and healing).
And then just dps the **** out of her.
You should be able to burn her down quite fast and still be on full hp with the ghostwolfs.
Maelstrom weapon helps alot aswell.

Shouldn't be much of a problem!

you cant shield bash his spells but u can spell reflect them.
Run out of the range of his aoe skill and spell reflect right after he cast it to spell reflect the red beam and u should be fine ;)

Mages can spellsteal the buff he puts on himself. Not only does it look totally awesome, it increases your cast speed (although the tooltip says the opposite) AND increases your damage.

Soloed as a lvl 75 resto druid. I'll always used hots on me. He hits for 1.2k on leather so hots are important. A veeeery long fight, moonfire, some wrath charges and then reload hots, used inervate and a mana pot. My T6 gear helped a lot so if u are bad geared don't try it as a resto.

Soloed this easily as a shadow priest, and I suppose the tactic I used works for any class with the ability to DoT. I just ran off the temple behind him, forcing him to take a detour around to reach me. Then just repeat until he's dead.

Just soloed as a 76 Warlock. Should be doable on lower levels as well: dot him up, run and jump down the ledge to the right. Keep running, circling the right part of the building until you reach the ledge again -- repeat for as many laps necessary, he can't really harm you.

As a 74 frost mage, I found this impossible. I did no dmg whatsoever to him, and he hit he really hard. I recommend group with tank and healer!

Easily soloed as a 75 Unholy Death Knight. Went into Frost Presence, killed a nearby mob for runic power, and cast Winter's Horn and Bone Armor before heading in. I sent the ghoul in first to get a couple of free hits, and summoned the Gargoyle right after grabbing aggro.

After that, just keep the two diseases up, Death Strike whenever possible, and Blood Strike otherwise. Death Coil if all your runes are on cooldown, and make sure to Mind Freeze when he starts casting the one spell he has.

I never went below 75% of my health (total 12.8k in Frost Presence).

Solod as level 76 frost mage. I just kited him with ice lance all the way to agmars hammer ( The guards are pansies they don't help) and kept running him in a circle around agmars hammer untill he was dead. If you get low on mana or hp use frost elemental and run away from it and ice block. The guy will run to your elemental and when iceblock is over you have a few secs to evocate or bandage. Works well when hes casting the power flux move as it will give you an extra 2 secs of evocate or bandage.

Solo'd at 76 as moonkin. He is immune to Entangled Roots, Cyclone, Typhoon (no push).

I kicked things off with treants and DoTs and let them suck up the damage for awhile. At this point, he was floating around 70K hp. With a few seconds left on the treants, I started the starfire/wrath Eclipse dps routine. I didn't have any pots, so I spent the majority of the fight healing myself and keeping DoTs up. Try to sneak in a wrath when you can. Make sure innervate is available, you are going to need it. It also helps when he tries to use Power Flux to get ready for a heal. It does some instantaneous damage as well as a DoT and then more instant damage when you hit the ground.

Solo'd as a 73 Elemental Shaman. 666 BD (lol) and 1020 BD with totems and Flametongue Weap. 8120 Hp, 10654 Mana. Used one Super Mana Potion.

First time I thought that I'd let my Earth Elemental tank for me and I'd just heal it, but that didn't work out so well. Went OOM between keeping it up and trying to DPS at the same time.

Second and final time around I popped everything I had: Bloodlust, Orc racial, trinket, followed by Elemental Mastery right off the bat and got out my Fire elemental. From there, just kept hammering away with LB and FS, ignoring CL along the way. Important thing here in my opinion is to get off a couple LBs and at least one FB (to keep it ticking) between the spells he uses to get you in the air. When you finish your rotation just keep spam healing yourself to keep your health topped off. Its when you're on the ground that you gotta worry about your health. When you are in the air, I'd suggest to continue DPSing as his spell only ticks for about 300 each. Rinse and repeat. You as the shaman will most likely begin to run OOM part way through the fight so always keep Water shield up and bring a super mana pot as a "just in case."

Was a hard fight, but very fun.

Edit: Now that i've read other posts i just remembered... clear the pats around him. =P

73 feral druid, able to solo with relative ease.

Start by clearing out the patrolling pair of mobs and those near the wall to the left or right of Magister Keldonus. Then stand next to the end of the wall you've cleared mobs from, throw on Regrowth/Rejuv, and moonfire to gain aggro.

At that point go bear, put up FFF and DR, and start your bear DPS rotation. Be sure to keep Mangle, 5x Lacerate, DR, and FFF up. Whenever he begins to cast Power Flux, run around the edge of the wall. He will finish his cast and then run back to you -- once he's back in melee range, situate yourself so that getting out of LOS can be done relatively quickly. Cast time on the Power Flux is 3s so you should plenty of time just rotating back and forth around the end of the wall. You could also run out of range/LOS for the casting of Fury of the Blue, but I didn't bother and it had little impact on the outcome of the fight.

If you have Berserk, you can let yourself build up some rage towards the end of the fight to burn him down after a Power Flux cast. I did all of this and without using a pot or cooldown other than Berserk I finished with 80% HP. Good luck, but I don't think you'll need it; this is definitely the easiest of the 3 group mobs in the chain for feral druids.

If you're careful and patient, this is soloable as a warlock. Did this as a deep destro spec lock at lvl 74 last night. Brought out voidwalker for tanking, applied curse of elements, and mostly sat there and spammed health funnel, pausing to bandage when my hp fell to around 50%. Sitting at max range, he will not hit you with his knockback, so all you have to worry about is his power siphon (which weakens your health funnelling). When he punts blueberry in the air, it's a good thing - it does not hurt him much at all, and you get a few seconds of free healing time.

DPS on him was extremely slow, since mr. blueberry does not generate enough threat to allow you very much time for damaging. It got a little pear-shaped near the end when 2 patrolling mage hunters respawned and entered the fray. Fortunately, I was just about able to finish the magister solo, with assistance of the voidwalker sacrifice bubble and all my emergency cooldowns.

Do-able for sure, but not for those lacking patience. It took me a good 5 minutes.

Solo'd this guy as a 73 Prot pally and as long as you can keep up the Divine plea buff with the Guarded by the Light talent which you should have if your a tank, makes the fight hella more easy anyways, and are using Judgement and seal of of light, it'll be easy, tedious, but easy.

Pop Divine protection when its up I could do it almost 3 times, hey it was a long fight and I was curious if i could do it alone, AND I DID =D. Holy Shield is a no brainer keep that bad boy up constantly and using Avenger's Shield while in the air helps it go faster but will waste some mana so if you have mana pots by all means. If your mana starts getting low and it is staying low even with Divine plea, consecration does that, just use seal of wisdom for a second or so and then when you got enough quickly go back to light.

He has a spell that decreases healing done to you which is the reason it made the fight tedious. I forgot to pop Avenger's Wrath >.>, but I'd do so because he did get me a little low towards the end and the extra sp couldn't hurt for damage and healing. Dont forget Blessing of Sanctuary and Righteous Fury, which hopefully you specced into for the damaged reduction.

Solo'd 72 Enhancement Shaman , Northrend greens and blues

Use Strenght of Earth, Windfury, Mana Spring and Fire Elemental Totems. To start the fight, pop your fire elemental, your wolves, an AP trinket and BL then just do you reg rotation on him. When in the air, shock/heal. The dogs should do a good job at keeping you up. If you get low just use a 5Mael to heal you back up. Pop your 2nd trinket whenever you can, and just keep doing your rotation. After the dogs fade, pop Sham Rage and use Mael to heal, or just use a pot.

He isn't that hard, but you will need to use all of your CD. Don't use Sham Rage early on, because you will go OOM.

Solo'ed as a 74 Unholy DK.

Frost Pres. is your friend here as well as Death Strike. He is immune to Death Grip so pull him however you want. Back up to the wall so when he pushes you don't fly to far away. Also, when he starts to cast for the push back, you can Mind Freeze and Strangulate him to stop the push back. Spent all my cool downs and came out with about 25% life left. He has a lot of HP so it's a longish fight.

Soloed as a 74 Ret Paladin in quest greens/blues except the 2H axe that Ingvar drops.

Went in with Seal of Light and used Avenging Wrath at the beginning. Just judged and spammed heals when he had me in the air and did a normal dps rotation (with some heals when needed) while I was on the ground. Popped a health pot when he was around 65% and used Lay on Hands around 30% (more so for the mana).

Soloed as an 74 Arcane Mage with an extremely long kite. Make sure you have a full charged mana gem to use, Just keep running in a strafe so you can Arcane Barrage and run easily. Helps to clear a straight route to a path where you can run in a straight line so he has less chance of catching and hitting you, don't worry if you see him getting close to you as he will often stop for a second to cast Siphon Magic debuff. Save your Evocations for when he casts his Power Flux, and also Slow fall of any cliffs you can see, takes a while for them to get down cliffs giving you extra time to bandage/evocate/nuke.

Solo'd as a Blood DK using 2 cooldowns. I was in Frost Presence with some tanking gear on. I just used Raise Dead and Dancing Rune Weapon to make the fight go a little faster. Mind Freeze the Power Fluxes, they sound dangerous. My damage (due to imp. Blood Presence) healed through the bird's damage. Easy elite. (Same exact strategy as Dreadtalon)

Managed to solo this as a Level 74 Shadow Priest, ran in casting both Vamp Embrace & Vamp Touch, then just dispelled myself while nuking with Mind Blast & Mind Flay keeping my dots up as much as possible, when he goes to cast his Arcane thing just move out of range and you wont get thrown in the air, had to use Disperssion & Shadowfiend for mana purposes but other that just keep nuking and heal when ya need to while using your bubble and he will go down pretty easily.

75 spriest solo'd. Watch out for respawns, as always. First attempt, he bugged out and reset after tagging me with his power flux. Second attempt failed due to respawns. Third attempt succeeded. Ended with 50% health and no mana, lol. Not an easy fight, but far from impossible.

Just got done taking care of this wench at lvl72 hit 73 when i turned the quest in, im BM spec with bear pet popped bestial wrath and kill command twice pet died when she was at 3% was able to kite her the rest. havent tried the other 2 yet but i believe ill be able to pull it off

Easily solo'd as a 71 Frost DK in tank spec and gear. Just under 13k hp, about 14k armor and 483 Defense, thanks to full Cobalt Armor and an Elixir of Mighty Defense. In Frost Presence. His white attacks landed only for 300-700.

I was pleasantly surprised to find his spell interruptable. Anti-magic Shell could only catch every other cast so I would hit Mind Freeze and a defensive CD and pray not to get insta-gibbed but the Mind Freeze locked him out every time.

He never got me under 60%. I didn't even have to Death Strike for every FU rune combo. I was about 50/50 on Obliterates (With free Howling Blast Procs) and Death Strikes.

solo'd as a 74 Blood DK. honestly didnt really do anything different from my normal dps rotation. kept up blood presence and just IT > PS > HSx2 > DS > IT/PS > HSx4. did use blood pact, DRW and a health pot, but didnt need either trinket i had equipped or anything else special. popped AMS once, though i probably didnt need to. ended with a bit less than 50% HP.

definitely keep your back to a wall though.

Just soloed as 74 frost mage. Took 2 tries to figure out a good tactic. Toss a few frost bolts at him to start then slow fall off the cliff behind him (South) and down onto the beach, running to the right first. There are no mobs here so you can freely kite him up and down the beach. Just keep Ice Barrier up all the time and pop your elemental when he's up. Kite and Ice Lance up and down the beach. Once you hit one end, turn and toss a quick Frost Bolt then Blink through him and run the other way. You can also get off a Frost Bolt when he does Power Flux (3sec channel). Fairly easy fight. He won't even break Ice Barrier when you turn and Blink through him.

If he gets too close just blink ahead. I used cold snap once to get an extra use of my elemental and Ice blocked once at the end when my ele was up to wait for a little mana. I popped all 3 charges of my mana gem and a mana pot during the fight and still was empty at the end. But otherwise, no real iffy moments. Easy kiting. Wearing half greens and blues with enchants at +900sp, though gear is not very important for this fight, provided you can have enough mana to actually finish him.

Could be done just as easily with arcane. Just keep Mana shield up and Arcane Barrage instead of ice lance. POM+Arcane Blast when its up or Arcane Blast on the turns. Can pop in a tick or two of Evocation after blinks if you get enough distance.

Solo'd as a 72 prot warrior. Tough fight!

He CAN be disarmed. That made life a little better, keep shield block up, demoralising shout, thunder clap. When he does his cast, run away and bandage as much as you can. I saved shield wall till I was around 50% hp. Avoiding his big knockback spell is the big thing. I died the first two times from being hit by that.

Edit: Also, he does might of malygos.. you can remove that with a shield slam asap.

Soloable as a 72 Demo Lock. I had heirloom staff, shoulders, and chest, plus half green half blue quest gear. He hits for only about 600-800ish on a Voidwalker with Improved on him. Just try to wallhug and avoid the patrols that walk around near him. The fight takes awhile, but IMO it's worth it so you don't have to try to spend 20 minutes finding help :P

I managed to solo him as a level 74 Beast master, using a ferocity pet (devilsaur). It was pretty hairy, a tenacity pet would probably be better for this guy, given that he is elite, but Heart of the Phoenix was pretty much all that managed to save my ass, I still ended up with less that 1k health and an almost dead (for the second time) pet.
I advise that you take health potions with you, if you're gonna solo it. It'd go very smoothly if you follow the quest text's advice and tackle him with a small group.

72 Ret pally got him. Took me 2 tries. Long fight with his HP. Seal of Wisdom + Judge light. Make sure you use Flash when you get your Art of War procs and Judge and cast Holy Light when he has you up in the air. As a Blood Elf, you can use your Arcane Torrent to interrupt his spells. I popped Avenging Wrath early in the fight, and got to use my bubble later when I had a pat walk in unexpectedly.

When he puts you up in the air, it breaks combat with the adds and lets you go back to killing him solo.

After failing miserably as feral, I switched into my resto spec and gear (mostly TBC questing gear) and was able to take him down easily. It just took a long time. Level 72 resto druid, this makes mana a non-issue. Just keep lifebloom on yourself and you'll be fine, maybe a rejuv here and there. You can pop Tree of Life for a DPS boost.

bassically just popped everything my mirror'd image's kept agro as i blasted him down with arcane blast. and arcane barrage. quite a simple fight until my images ran out... i pretty much just blasted him down with arcane blast and then would blink and with improved blink i would get more distance between me and him, and keep getting him down... ended great lol

Solo'd pretty easily as a 72 BM Hunter in quest greens, with a Ferocity kitty - as always, keep Mend Pet ticking. Blew Rapid Fire/Bestial Wrath/Haste trinket at the start, Kill Command on cooldown, and keep SS ticking, then weave Arcane/Steady shots. I use the BW glyph, and the fight lasted long enough to pop it twice; my kitty was almost dead by the end, but that was only cause I didn't keep my back to a wall, so got knocked out of range of my kitty when trying to throw Mend on him xD Would have been even easier if I'd thought to use Traps/Kill Shot xD

Soloed as a 71 retri pala. Seal of Insight up for mana. Use Holy powers for damage and Flash of Light when on ~50% hp.. Really easy kill considering it's a 3 man group quest and the quest text was orange.

So, obviously, he's not that difficult. One thing, for fire/arcane mages without a water elemental, Mirror Image works as a great tank. Use mana shield and burn away, and when you need to evocate/bandage, pop mirror image, mana up, and fire away. Works like a charm.

Barely soloed as a 73 MM hunter with a Tenacity pet. Kept Mend Pet up at all times but still my pet was taking too much damage. Be very careful where you stand, don't stand behind him like me or when you get knocked back, you'll land outside and behind the building where you will be LoS'd from him and your pet.

Luckily a 74 Enhance Shaman came around and helped me out a bit.

Same here, level 72 frost mage, but in green-blue quest rewards. He is immune to snare/root/freeze, but i was able to kite around the ruin and icelance/fireblast him down. It took a bit of time, cause my water elemental stucked a few time, and wasn't able to proc finger of frost for deep freeze. Be aware of the mobs spawning and patroling around the ruin.

Soloed as a 72 frost mage. A really easy way is to aggro from the cliff edge and pull down to the beach. There are no mobs so you avoid pulling extra stuff. The slow on my frostbolt was not helping much (he was still faster than me) but popping mirror image and icy veins gave me the advantage I needed.

Got it as a 74 rogue (spec 31/0/2) on my 3rd try. It was very very close. Garrote > Envenom to get deadly stacked > SnD and Ruptured, envenomed as I could. Popped evasion and let his casts go until the last second before interrupting except one I cloaked for a touch extra time. Once evasion wore off I dismantled and it seemed to help a bit. Wound up with 2045 DPS, in full brutal glad gear.

Soloed as a Feral Druid, lvl 71.

Running Cat spec from Elitist Jerks, used Bear form the whole time. Healed with Regrowth and Lifebloom when targeted in the air. Took about 5 minutes to take him down. He only did one knock back on me, and thanks to the info on here, I knew not to have my back to the cliff on him:). Spammed dmg mitigation spell the whole time as well.

Not that bad, if you go prepared.

Okay this one, seriously one of those WTF moments in game.

So I solo this guy. Pretty simple, keep your back to a wall and nuke away.

I go and loot him, and take a few seconds to /flirt /kiss talk RP smack at Grand Magister Telestra who is hanging out nearby. I spend a few seconds too long and Keldonus respawns on me. He blasts me backwards into a mob and two pats, which aggros another mob, and then two more mobs appear out of nowhere as if someone put out a call for a gang bang party just because. It's like I was at the nexus of four intersecting pats plus two stationary mobs plus one Magister Keldonus. Needless to say, I got my rear end reamed pretty hard pretty quickly. As I died, I watched about 6-7 mobs + boss go prancing away from my corpse.

Moral of the story: Don't get cocky, clear the area before engaging this guy. Also, no flirting with Telestra while teabagging Keldonus' corpse, apparently hitting on his gf while doing so encourages quick angry respawns.

Didn't see any other Priest writeups, so I figured I'd add my two cents. Just soloed this as a 74 Disc Priest. Kept PW:Shield up, kept the DOTs up, popped my shadow fiend, and just kept going through my damage rotation: Holy Fire, Smite, Mind Blast, Penance. Dispel Magic helped a lot, too. Was able to use Arcane Torrent once to stop him from lifting me into the air. Used Renew once or twice as well just to cover some damage taken between PW:Shields. Be sure to use your Shadow Protection, too. Long-ish fight, but deifnitely do-able. Had full health and about 5k out of 14k mana at the end of the fight.

pretty much the same tank spank with your pet as the other elites on the quest chain, using same mechanics and ALWAYS keep a nice spam of mend pet up.

One thing i have to reveal, the aggro of this fight is HORRENDOUS. I cleared out the mobs of the area just before the fight and 2 mobs came from up behind me from a good distance away from where i was at, in mid fight just to jump in on me while kiting. I nuked down magister but those 2 mobs were pure aggravation hell while trying to feather in my shots and mend my pet. After i spanked magister, me and the pet were finishing off the nosy ass mobs and he spawned in like 20 secs and was on me again. So i had to spank him twice, rest assured i mounted up and flew out of there after the second spanking.

So if you succeed as well, mount up and vamoose.

Solo'd as lvl 71 mm hunter with tenacity pet (gorilla). Keep mend pet up, and you'll be fine. Pretty easy.

Now as of 4.3 I found Magister Keldonus and the other elite monsters for the 'Wanted' quests to be NON-ELITE with around 20k health.

Approach with caution as Keldonus is a powerful magus. Do not engage solo!
