This is a reference to the 1988 movie They Live where Nada says "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum."
This was also referred to in the 1996 video game Duke Nukem 3D where he said "It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum... and I'm all out of gum."

Another clever easter egg from Blizzard.

Another little (useless) fact:

Actually, according to my Cartocrapher addon distance between Valgarde and Valiance Keep is about 10420 yards. One mile is 1760 yards and following equation can be led:

10420 / 1760 = 5,92045 miles

That's not anywhere near hundreds of miles, and not even one hundred. But maybe to keep story solid, quest designers have written like this.

maybe it is just me.. but talking about Easter eggs, isn't the tag line "when hell freezes over" a quote from blizzard when people asked when Diablo 3 would come out?
