Right.....An' speaking in game terms, I've pretty much tanked him on my rogue being lvl 25. Drood tank was so weak that he couldn't tank well after 45% and was twoshotted by enrage as healer had no mana by this time. So while everyone wiped, I vanished, and waited for the group to gather around. We(they) wiped again (Vanish ftw). So I offered to tank him, starting with talented ambush, then popping Evasion and building 5-point combos with SS, then Recuperating. One moment Hogger scored two crits on me, so I drank a Healing Potion. By the time he was finished, healer had around 30% of mana and I've never had aggro pulled of me. Then we found out that warlock was AFK all the time. Rogues, if your tank is failing to do his task on almighty Hogger, try it yourself - not really challenging if you know what to do.

P.S. Bastard ain't giving his trousers.

I pulled up to Stormwind 'bout seven or eight
And I yelled to , 'Yo Holmes, smell ya later!'
Looked at my dungeon and the soldier blockade
Now I sit in my cell, as the Prince of Stockade.

fight phases are.
Phase one,
He will continually attack the main tank(or whoever has most aggro) until roughly one minute into the fight he will cast https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/spell=36778# on half of the raid which can stack up to 5 times, causing almost instant death for all players when hit, this phase is mostly tank'nspank though. when hogger has reached 65% hp he will convert to the first phase transition.
Phase transition,
When hogger starts to cast Errore di Sistema everyone except for the people who received the debuff should run to the walls of the room and ranged dps from there, all the people who received https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/spell=36778# should stack on hogger and melee dps him, when hogger starts to summon Memoria di Boccalarga all the people with the debuff should attack this add to transfer debuff to him( if there is no debuffs stacked on him there is no physical way you can kill this add) when add is defeated phase transition ends.
Phase 2,
Everyone should stack on hogger in this phase as he will spam Profanazione on the walls in the room, if anyone goes in one it will expand to the raid and cause a wipe, to prevent this make sure everyone is stacked on hogger and noone moves,Hogger will use Tempesta d'Ossa#used-by-npc make sure your healers can keep up with healing, if not replace 2 tanks/dps for 2 healers. Will use https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/spell=69383#used-by-npc at 45%hp(also defile fades at 45% hp), When he is at 35%hp phase transition #2 will occur.
Phase transition #2,
When hogger announces that the forest was only a setback everyone should unequip all of their weapons (including guns bows throws etc) and attack him bare handed, all spells used against him will heal him for 50 mill, about 20 seconds into this transition hogger will start to summon Memoria di Boccalarga again, but this time there is no need for the debuff to be on him, as noone will still have it.DONT KILL THIS MOB. leave him and if possible have a tank hold him on the walls of the room as he will cast an aoe attack that will cause about 15kdmg per second make sure the tank is well geared and is healed good. After one minute this transition will end and the third and final stage will begin.
Phase 3,(re-equip weps)
Immediatly hogger will use https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/spell=93135# that will spawn on top of the add, the tank should stay in this zone with the mob, when hogger is about halfway done with the channeling all raiders should kill the add within a range of 1-5 seconds before the spell ends or hogger will cast Profanazione across the whole room causing a wipe. When the mob is killed everyone should quickly run to hogger and stack on him he will then cast Rete on everyone while he runs to the wall. Everyone should stay in the middle after net has faded while hogger randomly attacks people with Detonazione d'Ombra an instant cast spell. After he stops casting, melee dps/tanks should all go toward him and start tank'n spanking him (he should be at about 15% hp by now) When he is at 5% hp he will enrage dealing about 100k a hit on tanks with a 1.50 attack speed dps need to race to kill him here.

Hogger was created from the goop clogging up High Overlord Saurfang's shower,a shower using the blood of his enemies. Hogger was on his way to destroy the Alliance when Saurfang sneezed, causing the Cataclysm. The world shook so violently that Hogger got dizzy, and confused. He took a wrong turn at the Auction House while going to kill Wrynn. And that's how he ended up in the Stockades.

Why does he also kill the Horde? Because the Goop of Saurfang answers to no mortal! Saurfang isn't mortal so he doesn't count.
