We killed him with 37 people on Dathremar server in Searing Gorge. He drops similar if not the same loot as Lord Kazzak.

The encounter is also exactly the same as the Lord Kazzak fight, however you cannot defeat him when he is in a capital city as he will just kill everyone and in-turn gain 25k HP per kill.

How come hes never showed up in the cities on lethon ive had the game for about 7 months and ive never seen him in a capital city and yes i got it before BC where is he i wanna see him kill Ironforge? I am on the realm lethon. Also he can be killed ive seen in skits on Youtube him raiding orgrimmar and being killed so he can.

He ran rampant through the capital cities and several zones for a period of time following the openning of the dark portal (TBC release). As far as I know he remains where Lord Kazzak once staked his claim in the Blasted Lands.

Man, I was there in Lightbringer Stormwind a few weeks after I started playing WoW. I was level 54 and me, alot of 60's kicked his ass. lol

Highlord Kruul didn't actually attack Factions,he only tried to hide from Saurfang that saw him coming out from outland.

In WotLK Beta, he roams Outlands. This leads me to believe that he may roam outlands during 3.0 until WotLK.

The amusing thing is that there are certain areas he'd get owned in. Especially if he got lured into Wildhammer Stronghold.

1v1, Kurdran Wildhammer would kill this dude in just over 30 seconds. Every time someone dies to Kruul and heals him, that's another 3-4 sec.

In the meanwhile it'd take Kruul 10 minutes to kill Kurdran.

Damn that is a real shame. I have seen so many awesome videos of Kazzak storming Stormwind (no pun intended) and I have always wanted to get totally pwned by this dude. I hope Blizzard brings him or Kruul back so we can have fun stalking and trying so hard to beat him.

HOLY CRAP i was lvl like, 35 and he friggin' shows up while at UC zepp and comes out of "A DARK PORTAL" and kills everyone, does what kazzy does (shadowbolt AE) and wooped evry1 on scarlet crusade server who came, then minions came, fireguards etc. and killed more noobs in tirisfal glades, HOLY CRAP it sucked..... btw it was late january, the night BC came out

Beating the living tar out of SW on Draka right now. Joined a raid group to see if we can take him down. Hope I've got a good update for everyone soon!

EDIT: Well, the raid wiped several times. Got him to 50% once, but he kept healing it back off of the newbs. *Sigh.* So for anyone else taking him on, I have some simple advice:

IF YOU ARE NOT LEVEL 60, BACK THE HECK OFF.

People he kills give him back life, and if he keeps killing enough lowbies, the raid will fail, no matter how many people are punking on him. I notified one of the big and badass guilds on the server, and they're gonna take a crack at it once they warm up with Blackwing Lair. Maybe THEY'LL have a better shot at it.

He is in SW on Kul Tiras server at the moment, I was on my level 8 priest and got hit for 400 by his dog -_-.Oh well wonder what will happen...

Edit: Also there were like a million players near him, even more ghosts hehe. Anyways the place caused so much lag because there were so many people, EVEN HORDE CAME! I will remember this forever.

Just to say to all, i started playin WoW, one day before he came, he hit SW and IF on the server Turalyon, dont remember days, but i do know that he came as a countdown to the release of the Burning Crusade Expansion. what really sucked was i was lvl 11 and i had to get into SW to finish a mission..... also, if i remember correctly, i heard that only one server actually took him down.

From what I've heard his loot is equal to Kazzak's. Can't confirm this though, I can give you an update in 3-4 hours.

Local Defense on Skullcrusher just downed him. He has the same basic loots as Kazzak and is almost the same fight with one exception. He has two ? Infernals with him and his enrage timer before he instagibs everyone is a hell of a lot shorter.

Strat:
Pull each Inferno individually, you can do this by following him and pulling them one at a time as they follow him and wont aggro if pulled when they lag behind. They hit like pansies so any tank with good heals can keep aggro.

When you attack Kruul...get close, like right beside...priests need to give prayer of shadow protection. Have a Warrior take initial aggro, Kruul also hits like a pansie so no worries there...group up really close to him and tight together, he drops meteors on people so stay close...it hurts less for some reason.

Burn him down quickly, you only get about a minute to do it. And for God's sake, don't die...he heals just like Kazzak Does.

Other points to note: he walks around spamming that he is looking for the aspect shards...thus looking for the demon soul (probably)- hint towards new lvl 70 end game content. And he kills everyone and everything in his path...and then spawns lvl 50 core hounds around the dead bodies. they aren't impressive but the massive flames are.

This guy came and started wreaking havoc...then all of the sudden he starts calling us all gay and droping f-bombs, saying crap that could get any1 else reported. Hes been outside of Undercity on Thrall server for hours now. I made the mistake of trying to run out of Undercity long after people stopped talking about him. Its 6:30 am server time and hes still there. So in otherwords, I didnt know he was still there, ran out the front gate, and bumped into him. OOOOOOPPPPS! Needless to say hes faster than you are on foot. He one hit me inside the gates of UC and walked out front again. I had to take the sewers to get out safely. This guy is a badass. Ive also on one occasion seen him wipe roughly 80 guys in Orgrimmar. Carnage indeed.

Anybody know how long he will hang around a zone if nobody kills him? I was just questing in Searing Gorge on the Staghelm server and here comes Highlord Kruul walking down the road! Managed to escape and get some screenshots of him but then I stood around for about 45 minutes waiting for a raid to come. It never did so I logged out...

So far, Brotherhood of the Blade on Argent Dawn is 2 for 2, once at UC and once at Ogrimmar. Unfortunately, it took longer at Org, but that time I actually got to see him =) just before the black glowing skull thingies ripped the flesh from my bones.

I saw his huge ass and decided to test his strength solo, I do not reccomend this, obviously.
I was cursed instantly and it "Drains 5% mana every one second" and after about 5 secs i blew up much like the bomb or a worse effect of burning adrenalin. It non-crit me for about 5.6k and i sadly had to walk from Cenarion Hold to the southern camp.

Sure, he's just like Kazzak, except Kazzak doesn't have hordes of lowbies attacking him and helping him to heal. Tried to down him on Alliance Gorgonnash. Got thoroughly owned. Tried pulling him away from town, didn't work that well either.

Highlord Kruul is as hard as Archimonde. He is a secret boss which may need requirements like to be a level 70-80 or he's part of a quest.

a few months ago i saw him in orgrimmar, Burning Steppes server. There was about 200 corpses around him, noone managed to took him down, logged off for the night, came back the next day and he was gone, thank god, i was getting sick of running round to the side door everytime i wanted to get into Orgrimmar :/

Kruul just got owned by Predestined on Mannoroth just like 2 minutes ago, after kicking people's asses for about 2 hrs, it was a miracle. He drops nooby Kazzak loot though, but since Kazzak isn't gonna be in the original anymore, I guess thats OK. Kazzak is going to be a BC lvl 70+ boss.

He aoe shadowbolts for a little over 1k and cast Mark of Kazzak...Casts a curse (on a random player in range with mana) that drains the target's mana for 250 per second and explodes for 4,000 AOE damage when there is no more mana to drain. A living bomb.

In IF on Thunderhorn now...98% lowest I seen in hour I've been here....although I've seen his HP full at 72000, 87000, 88000, and 139000....must be rise and fall on people he's killing, not sure how fast it drops

Yesterday the guild rage (alliance) dealt a big blow to the demons in kor'gall european servre about 19:00 in searing gorge kruul was defeated dropping eye of shadow and 2x blacklight bracer. Very funny

He should be wandering one of the areas right now, which include Winterspring, Silithus, EPL, The Hinterlands, Searing Gorge, Azshara, STV, and in front of the gates of SW, UC, IF, and Org. How would I add locations to this? I know his path in STV, and some spots of his route in Winterspring, Hinterlands, Searing Gorge, Azshara, and STV.
