ArtStation Magazine
recently published an Art Blast focused on the visuals for
Eternity's End
. The piece featured several Blizzard artists focusing on their particular specialty. We thought we'd take a look at the work that each artist does for World of Warcraft and their featured artwork.
Check out the work of Alex Creamer, featured as an Environment Artist.
Environment Artist
Environment Artists create the setting for the zone. In Zereth Mortis this includes the rocks, dirt, plants, roads, monuments, and all the other static pieces that make up the zone.
Creamer's work exemplifies the subtle detail in the desert areas of zone, the scrubby desert plants clinging to areas that may provide more moisture or shade. They may not be something that you notice every day, but you'd certainly notice if they weren't there.
Eternity's End Desert Assets
Here are some small assets I made for World of Warcraft's Eternity's End Patch! I was tasked with helping create a suitable plant kit for the desert sub-zone in Zereth Mortis. I worked alongside Gabe Gonzalez and Alex Iveroth for this area.
As always, this was a huge collaboration with tons of amazing people and teams to create Zereth Mortis!
Thanks for looking =)
Creamer also worked on environmental assets for Korthia.
