I'm also curious what's inside, maybe fishing dailies are going again to be valuable to make. Now it only gives gives guilde exp and gold, and it's not so attractive as wotlk fishing daily awarded bag's was. :)

I don't think we really need to speculate what's inside these so-called "Water-Filled Gills." I'm pretty sure it's safe to say, just by looking at the name, there will be water inside. The fun lies is the fact we have no idea what water is inside. The name doesn't specify that. Who knows what we'll get.

Though it could be THIS because we all know ALL fish in WoW are depressed.

I have a feeling I won't ever come across one of these unless it has a high rate of drop or is natural quest reward.

I'm unsure of the contents as yet however this is dropped from one of the "mini-bosses" in Zll'Gurub. To start with there is a quest to kill them all after that we've just been killing them for the fun :D

I have never seen one of these drop. I've killed them all each run I've been on. I'm guessing it's another way to get the tome of polymorph turtle?

I looted it, contained a bunch of volatile water. I think ~16? Wasn't paying that close attention...

With the use of the frost cauldron they are fairly easy to take down alone. However i'd be careful though :>

For those who are thinking about farming these in the hope of many easy .

The is not a guaranteed drop.
Not even if you are on the quest!
I tested about 10 times today with a char which completed the quest already, and about 10 times with another char which was on the quest (after each kill, cancelled the quest and picked up again).
Even tried 2-3 kills without picking up the quest.

Although during the ~20 kills dropped once. Still, my conclusion is that it doesnt worth the hassle of farming for anything.

I can't believe I never knew about this until now... omg so many transmutes wasted to make volatile water because I didn't want to fish for it. I'm going to farm this right now on my hunter and get like 1000 so I never need to worry about my truegold transmute stock.
