Whoever keeps downrating all of these comments needs to stop failing. They're perfectly fine for anecdotal purposes, perhaps as use to instill hope in those hoping to see more epic world drops.

Anyways, saw a guild member loot this tonight from quest mobs in Twilight Highlands. Strangely enough, when viewed on my guild's activity feed (on the official site), the link just shows the ring's name and item level but no stats. I had to come here in order to see the proper stats.

We've established it drops, we've established it's a world random drop from high level zones and instances. Any new comment regarding "ooh I just killed XXXXX and this thing dropped! I earned XX k gold! Aren't AH people crazy?" is redundant.

What's not redundant are observations regarding the item itself, like the fact that it's one of the best "available" rings for rogues pre-raid.

Dropped off a spider in Tol Barad. Unfortunately for my assassination rogue, I was grouped with a hunter for dailies, and lost the roll.../cry.

Hoping to have this drop for you is like hoping to win the lottery; the important thing is that this will drop often enough that there will usually be a couple in the AH. From there it is feasible for those of us who need it to farm gold and buy it (enabling whoever sold it to buy something they need). And so the WoW world goes round. Pay your dues, farm your gold, buy the stuff you can so you can save your badges for stuff that gold won't buy. It's all part of *earning* your spot on a raid team, instead of waiting to get lucky or have someone carry you.

Dropped off of Problim in Tol Barad. Apparently anyone can loot it since I didn't initiate the fight but was able to get the loot.

Dropped for me from one of the Crocolisks in the Tol Barad swamp area - total surprise, since I was just farming leather. Traded it to a guildie for 2 stacks of Heavy Savage Leather and some Volatiles. Cmon... gotta help out the guildies!

Dropped on Vortex Pinnacle Heroic, on the mobs before the drake boss, sold for 25k on the AH in only a few hours.
