When you first see Myzerian he will have a buff that makes him regenerate health very quickly. He also hits like a truck. Don't try to kill him yet. Eventually, as you progress through Harrison's quest chain, Myzerian will have low HP and no buff. A level 84 DPS warrior and a level 84 resto druid (myself) were able to duo him in this state, but it went slowly and I'd recommend asking in general chat for more people than that.

There are no quests to kill this NPC, just the optional one you get from this item.

Soloed as a level 84/85 <Class>.

I just used <Ability X> and then <Ability Y> and made sure not to take too much damage.

Edit: Just for clarity, he can be stunned and CC'd and kited and all manner of things. Just use your head and most classes with the ability to kite or tank will have no problem killing him. If he proves too much for you to handle, just ask someone for help in general. He can readily be duo'd by any two characters.

I didn't see anyone mention this but...you can only do the hand in once. After you have killed it and turned it in, and then try to kill it again he will not drop the hand in item (myzerian's head). (To whomever decided to downrate my post I had posted this before the ABOVE person posted theirs with their information---read the dates before you get all bent out of shape towards people that try to be helpful---thanks)

Easy to solo as a Fury Warrior 380 ilvl... Just move when the spikes are on the ground :)
Would have been cool to have a repeatable quest on this mob.

just downed it and it drop Myzerian's head.
